Pet care experience
With almost 30 years in the Vet Med industry and more than 30 years of animal husbandry under my belt I feel more than confident that I can take care of your fur babies. From reactive dogs, geriatric pets, puppies that need extra time/training, I feel I can handle it. I was given my first lab cross when I was 11 and have never looked back. I’ve had at least one dog (sometimes six!) since then. I’ve worked in VetMed since 1996, wildlife rehab, fostered kittens (bottle babies to moms with a litter) for the local humane society, and we’re currently raising a beautiful Labrador for Guide Dogs For The Blind.
Reviews
Cary was excellent at taking care of our two Huskies. Cary was friendly, had great communication and is extremely knowledgeable about dogs. We felt like our dogs were in great hands and will definitely book again soon!
Cary takes amazing care of our two cats, 14 year old pitbull, our 10 year old tiny terrier and our 3 month old Guide Dog puppy in training. She manages their daily medications, Guide Dog puppy training, and even successfully walks all three of the dogs together! Her veterinary medical knowledge makes me feel confident that if anything was wrong with the pets she would know exactly what to do. I would highly recommend Cary for any of your pets’ needs!!!
I’ve known Cary for over a decade now both personally and professionally, and I can say without a doubt in my heart that she will absolutely take the best care of your furry kids while you’re away from home. She has cared for my furry family with amazing love and attention, and I know she will do the same for all the animals she cares for in the future. 5 stars!!!! Wholeheartedly recommend!!!!!
Cary has always taken excellent care of my dogs! She treats them like her own and they love her. She followed all the directions given; I have no worries when I know that Cary is taking of my dogs when I'm out of town.

I would like to know about any pertinent medical history, any behavioral issues, areas of training you are or would like to work on, likes/dislikes, or anything else you think I should know before taking care of your pet.
A typical day
Dependent on age and ability/activity level of your pet, I could use treat based puzzles, walks, training games, with down time for snuggles and pets.

Availability
I’m currently taking a break from VetMed so I’m a full time stay at home pet parent. I fill my day training a puppy, going for dog walks in our neighborhood, and fixing up our 100 year old house.
