Pet care experience
I am a dog lover from head to tail and will give him/her my full attention and love while we're together! +I live near several dog parks, walking paths, and my own home and neighborhood is dog friendly. I am dog sitting for a very personal reason. My own dog, Boogie, whom I loved ever so dearly for seven years passed away in an auto accident due to pet sitter negligence. Through this tragedy I've made it my mission to care for the furry friends of others to help me heal from the trauma and to be a shining example of excellence of what pet sitting should be to honor Boogie's memory. I understand first hand the responsibility, respect, and love we owe to our dogs, and wish to do my very best to care for yours. You can rest assured that your dog will be in the BEST of hands/paws! ***I have a strong preference for dogs who are usually on "good behavior" at home, minimal barking, no anxiety issues, no destructive or aggressive behavior. Should you're dog have any of these traits it is extremely important to make me aware so we can work something out to make sure they have a good stay.*** Give me a brief description of your dog's normal daily routine, behavioral quirks, temperament with humans and other animals, medical needs, dietary restrictions, and likes and dislikes and I will be able to adapt very easily so we can have a great experience together! :)
A typical day
I'm more than happy to take your dog to local dog parks or other dog friendly areas where he or she can explore the environment while being vigilantly supervised by me at all times. ***For overnight stays please bring your dog's bed/crate, food, bowls, medications, some toys, and treats. We can play together with their favorite dog toys, work on basic training, or hang out all day.
