Leave your pets with a Pre-Vet!

Pet care experience

I am a senior at Washington State University studying Genetics and Cellular Biology with a Pre-Veterinary Track. In high school I pet sit and dog walked for many animals including difficult and friendly cats, all sizes of dogs, and common exotics. Additionally, I volunteered with dogs and occasionally cats, at the SW Humane Society, and I volunteered at the Oregon Zoo's family farm. Since, then I have worked at East Padden Animal Hospital as a Veterinary Technician Assistant, worked as an Animal Care Tech at the WSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital, and I just got back from Cusco, Peru where I traveled with a WSU group to provide free veterinary medicine clinics to the underserved surrounding communities. Lastly, I spent a few months working on a sheep and goat farm in Ellensburg, WA and will be entering my third year on the WSU Equestrian Competitive Team. I also grew up with many pets and spent a lot of my childhood also caring for and training my neighbors and friend's pets. I have a lot of experience and exposure to all types of animals, of any size. This year I will be applying to school to get my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine so I am trying to get as much last minute exposure as I can get to top off my application and plus, I clearly love animals!!!!! I own two cats currently and with the weather getting nicer I am looking for lots of dogs to walk since I don't currently have the time to care for my own. So hire me to watch and walk your sweet precious babies!!!

Carson did a fabulous job! She took my dog on fun adventures during just the short weekend she was with him and she did great with his meds. Would love to book again!

Carson has walked our little 10lb Pekingese "Manny" many times around our neighborhood when we were away. She sat with him several times, and even took him into her home when we're gone for the weekend. He loves her and doesn't like every many people ;-) Carson is very knowledgable about many aspects of pet care and we are happy to refer her to all our friends and family. We are certain she will do a good job for you too!

Carson is great with pets! She cared for our dog and cat when we went out of town. Always dependable, pets loved her, even my timid puppy. Carson is also a very nice person, I met her while she was in high school and she has grown to be an amazing person.

Carson is the best! She has watched our dogs multiple times when we were gone on vacation and she was great! My dogs can be quite leery of strangers and they got comfortable with her very quickly. Now they love her! She’s a responsible young lady with great communication skills, she even sent me pics/videos of my dogs which was awesome! I plan on hiring her whenever I need a dog sitter.

I do drop ins and overnight stays. Normally drop-ins consist of 2-3 visits a day where I feed and walk or let the pets out, depending on the owner's preference for their pet's routine. During an overnight stay, I sleep at the owners house (more mentioned in my schedule) and care for the pets there. I also do dog walking, and will also take your dog to pups and cups with your permission! I do not provide pet sitting in my own home because I have roommates and my own pets.

I don't have many plans for this summer so I am looking for some extra dogs to walk and other animals to play with and I will have most of the day free, to do so. During the school year if I am dropping in to feed or walk, I normally do so before my classes, around 7am; in the afternoon between of after my classes, 11-2pm; and then in the evening, 5-11pm. If I am doing an overnight stay, I will be at the client's house most, if not the whole time I would normally be at mine (i.e. whenever I am not in classes, anytime I plan to be home). My schedule is pretty flexible and I do my best to make your pets the priority of my schedule.
