Pet care experience
Ever since I was 8, caring for animals has been my passion. My family entrusted me with their precious fur babies, knowing they'd receive top-notch care. With three adoring cats of my own and a family dog (doesn’t live with me), I bring a wealth of firsthand knowledge and a genuine love for cats and dogs to ensure your furry companions receive exceptional attention and care. Rest assured, your beloved pets will be treated like one of our own during their stay in our home! I deliberately keep the number of pets I host at a minimum of 1 or 2 to give each furry friend the attention and affection they deserve, ensuring their time with us is filled with comfort and joy. Expect regular check-ins and a delightful array of photos – because I know firsthand the longing for updates on your cherished companions while you're away.

I had to leave my 13 year old lab Lucy this weekend for a 4 day trip I couldn't miss just as Lucy was having back leg weakness issues for the first time in her life. She is an English lab and 62lbs, not a dog that someone could carry around and suddenly she was having trouble walking. We have a step to the outside of the house and I was concerned about Lucy being able to get in and out to poop we/poop. Carrin came over and I showed her everything Lucy needed( help getting in and out after her meal, check claw rings for wood floor traction, feed pain pills, feed joint supplements and then it was time to leave on the trip, ready or not! The first morning Carrin texted about an idea to make a ramp so Lucy would have more ease going out. She found a sheet of new wood siding by the garage and sent a video of Lucy using it fairly easily. I got back last night and found Lucy feeling much better and looking very well cared for. Thank you, Carrin for the creative problem solving and for the loving care. It was so helpful to see the videos of you and Lucy each morning.
Carrin, was great with our dog. She was prompt to reply to accept the gig and that was greatly appreciated given that it was last minute same day. She communicated well with us to coordinate leading no up to it. She sent helpful updates and lots of pictures to keep us assured that everything was going well. This was our first time using rover and it was a great and easy experience.
Carrin is an AMAZING woman and pet sitter!! She is attentive my pet's needs and desire for attention despite having three cats of her own. Carrin kept me updated with pictures, videos, and little notes about my kitty. I highly recommend Carrin for your pet sitting needs. I would hire Carrin permanently if I could! Such as if they are special needs, have potty issues, or allergic to anything in particular. I'm delighted to make your furry companion feel right at home and cater to their needs. Whether your pet is uneasy around other animals, faces challenges during walks, or feels uneasy in public spaces with strangers, rest assured that I'll go above and beyond to guarantee a stay that is both comfortable and secure for your pet. ***please ensure your pet has had flea medication beforehand if possible.
A typical day
I enjoy playing fetch with dogs, creating impromptu treat cloth puzzles, and snuggling with them when they're tired. My spacious backyard offers them ample room to frolic, and there's a lovely park nearby that we can stroll to and run around in!
