Happy Home Pet Daycare!

Pet care experience

Hello! My name is Carrie and I love all animals especially my furry loving friends! My home provides for a fun, safe, stimulating environment and of course a plentiful abundance of kisses and cuddles. I have been sitting for over 4 years. I have experience with all size dogs, toy to extra large, and cats as well. I am certified in Pet First Aid and CPR by the American Red Cross. I am educated and equipped to handle anything from minor cuts and scrapes to medical emergencies that may occur. I work as at home, which makes it possible for the environment to be consistently supervised. My home has separate areas: • Dogs may play off-leash with other dogs in my dog-friendly home equipped with a fenced backyard. • At night, your pup will be cuddled up in a bed, or if preferred, on a comfy quilt on the floor. • Your cat may reside in the "Cat Cove" if preferred to be away from dogs. Activities: • I provide an adequate amount of daily exercise in order to maintain a healthy well balanced pet. • Younger and middle aged pups - I exercise them for about 1 hour a day with a local walk and/or doggie-friendly activities. • Older, senior dogs – For dogs who need an easier routine , I will take them on 1-2 short walks a day so they may be exercised within their physical ability and needs. • Morning and evening meals (2x per day) and water all day long. • Bathing as needed. I am available for daily visits as well as short and long term stays! I take one family at a time, meaning, I take one client at a time who may have more than 1 pet - so please feel free to ask. I am also willing to come to your home and dog sit as well as dog walk in the local area for 15$-20$/per walk depending on location. I assure you, I will provide the best service and utmost love and attention to your loved one! Why I love dog sitting I have had several dogs in my past - all mixes: Pug, Samoyed-Golden Retriever, Miniature Schnauzer, and Poodle-Terrier. I have pet-sit dogs and cats, but also trained dogs and horses. About my yard Our home is on a half acre. The back yard is fenced in. We have a pool, but the pool is covered securely during the winter and surrounded by a pool fence in the summer. There are two tiers of play areas in which your pet may run, play, fetch, dig, or sunbathe. My experience administering medication Yes, as I have performed this for my own animals in the form of pills, paste, and shots (diabetic).

My dog recently spent a week with Carrie. She kept in touch and sent me a couple of pictures of him interacting with her family. He needs a lot of attention so I knew a family setting would be the only thing to work for him for such a long time period. He enjoyed the big yard to roam in. I was disappointed that he wasn't crazy to see me when I picked him up - my interpretation of that was that it felt like home.

Information Carrie T. would like to know about your pet

I would prefer to meet your loved one and introduce him/her to my home before a stay. I would need to know about any past fighting or biting that pet was involved in and anything that the owner has noticed that can illicit a aggressive response such as: food, toys, treats, attention, etc. in order to ensure the highest level of safety for them and others. I am willing to work with all breeds.
