I have two dogs of my own, a border collie and a rescue mix and I know how big a step it would be for me to hand them over to someone else’s care so you can be assured that yours will be looked after as though they are my own. Will enjoy getting to know your dog & their quirks & very individual personality! One of mine is very outgoing, the rescue very shy until she knows people, so I know how important it is to interact with a dog in a way they’re comfortable with. I grew up with dogs and many other pets & around farm animals & love to be in their company. I have housesat and babysat for friends’ dogs & cats over the years. Will meet you and your doggo before a booking so that you can give me full details of your dog’s needs & preferences and ensure that we are all happy & comfortable with one another. Your preferences as the owner will be carried out to the letter, including all dietary requirements. Very happy to send you updates & pics during any bookings to let you know how they’re getting on. For walks, they can be individual or if your dog enjoys company, and once they are properly introduced, can join my own if you would like. I live close to Ferry Meadows and the surrounding country walks. Walks in the countryside towards Elton & beyond are a favourite. Used to giving very active dogs a good run & time to sniff & take in all the sights & sounds that gets them home tired & happy! Your dog will be safely transported behind a secure grid in the boot of the car with bungee attachment to back harness if they wear one. Dogs must be microchipped and have a collar tag with your full contact details please. They can be walked on short lead or long, soft lunge lead (in appropriate areas) according to your preference. Off lead walks may be arranged in time if we are all fully confident in your dog’s recall! Poo bags will ALWAYS be at the ready to clear up after your dog. For drop in visits or house sitting I will always be completely respectful of your property & privacy. Can spend time playing, fussing or training with your dog to keep them happy, calm & occupied. For day care, they can have the run of the house once successfully introduced to my dogs or can be kept in separate rooms. I have a fully enclosed & secure back garden with 6ft fences & gates, which are locked (we were home checked including for garden security when adopting my rescue dog).
