Trained cat foster and cat parent!
Pet care experience
I'm a trained, full-time foster with AdvoCat Rescue for over 3 years, a cat parent since 2014, and part of a cat family since my teens. I'm TNR trained, and experienced in administering medications, bathing, and interacting with cats with behavioral challenges (even the extra "spicy" ones!) I've rehabilitated dozens of cats and kittens to successful adoptions, and my passion is working with shy or feral kitties--they need love too! I can handle the tough cases! I love dogs also, and have experience dog sitting for neighbors and friends, but the majority of work and experience is with cats.
Reviews
Carrie has been walking our dog for about a year now and is just so kind and caring towards our fur baby. My dog gets so excited every time she arrives for a walk so I know it’s true love! Carrie is punctual and honest. I’m happy to have met her. She is also an amazing cat whisperer!
Carrie is always so joyful and really takes care of my dog whiskey who absolutely loves her
Carrie is so great with whiskey he loves her and he responds to her and he behaves better on the leash with her than me lol
Carrie is great with my dog whiskey and is teaching him how to walk best on a leash. He loves going for walks with her and she’s very flexible with helping me through an injury.

Safety, trust & environment
I observe and abide by all leash laws in New York City, and take great care to watch for bikes, scooters, and turning car when crossing streets.
Information Carrie Q. would like to know about your pet
In order to keep your pet on their familiar routine, I need to know what their typical day is like, their likes and dislikes, fears, favorite toys and games, and if there are any behavioral challenges and how you want them handled.
A typical day
Let’s go on long energetic walks and play in the park. Fetch, toys, whatever is the pup’s favorite! For slower-moving dogs, we can just take our time and enjoy the scents and scenes!
Services
Carrie can watch in your home
Availability
I work freelance primarily from home, with occasional days onsite, so daytime visits are most flexible, but my availability changes week to week. Mornings and evenings are possible depending on schedule. Because I always have foster kitties in my apartment, I'm unable to house other cats or stay overnight, but a drop-in feeding/visit/playtime/walk would be perfect!
