As a dog owner, lifelong animal lover and Rover user, I know how important it is to know your pup is in good hands while you’re away. I work from home and have a large fenced-in backyard that is great for dogs to play fetch and run around in. My husband and I have a friendly 4 year old black lab and two very aloof cats. We offer a cozy home environment and will treat your dog like family. As a rule, I usually will never have more than 3 dogs here at one time (including my own) to keep things calm, and most often just take one boarder at a time. This works well for dogs who might be anxious in typical boarding situations with 20+ dogs. We have a spare guest room that a dog can hang out in if they need a break (with nestcam monitoring), or we are happy to give them run of the place. I’m comfortable giving medication or special diets and of course, lots of attention and playtime. Meet and greets are very welcome! Our dog loves to make new friends and go on long walks down to the golf course around the corner.

Carrie is absolutely outstanding. She consistently updates us on Riley throughout her stays and takes tons of pictures to share the fun Riley is having with her pup, Lady. We are 100% at ease leaving Riley with Carrie and we know that Riley is relaxed and having fun while we are out of town. When we pick her up, Riley gazes longingly out the back window as we drive away from Carrie's house saying goodbye to her awesome vacation home and good friends.
Carrie was awesome! We felt so relaxed knowing our Aussie was staying with her. She was super friendly, provided plenty of photos, and my 47lb ball of energy came back exhausted (which is always a good sign that she was properly taken care of). So thankful and we will definitely book again!
I can't emphasize enough how amazing Carrie was. She treated our dog like her own and kept us constantly updated while Riley stayed with her. Her dog, Lady, was a great playmate, as was her cat. I have an amazing picture feed in our message history and very much enjoyed seeing about a dozen pics and videos each day. I'm not sure who had a better vacation honestly, us or our dog. As I drove away, Riley gazed longingly out the back window of the car, clearly already missing her new friend, Lady. I will definitely be booking Carrie again as she not only gave us peace of mind, but actual joy of seeing how much fun our pup was having while we were out of the state.
Carrie was excellent! She kept me updated on my dog’s status and took great pics of doggy adventures. I would highly recommend Carrie to anyone who is looking for a responsible and caring pet lover :)
