My 12 year old chihuahua suffered a stroke after being administered the wrong medication by a veterinarian just one week ago. When he regained consciousness he was blind, disoriented, frightened, nervous and running into walls, cabinets and furniture, circling and crying out. I had a day long commitment out of town and couldn't leave him unattended so I found Carrie on Rover.com. We talked and I liked what I heard. I was completely honest about Pepper's health and my fears. She seemed to understand and arrived early Saturday morning as I was dashing out the door. Pepper was immediately comfortable with Carrie even though he could not see her. I felt at ease and we talked and texted several times throughout the day. She took Pepper outside regularly, changed his water, fed him (which means hand feeding since he can no longer find his bowl), and was washing my dishes when I returned Saturday night. I was so relieved. All was well in this difficult situation. Carrie is compassionate, clearly loves animals and I was comfortable with her caring for my little one in his own environment. Yes, I will hire her again to be with my fur babies. You will like and trust her.

We have used Carrie for several long trips for pet and house sitting over the past year. We have two excitable and stubborn dogs and she is absolutely great with them. She really loves dogs and cares for them as if they were her own, and our dogs love her too! She sends lots of pictures and keeps us up to date on everything at home while we’re gone. Our house is always neat and well-cared for. I highly recommend Carrie as a trusted pet and house sitter.
