Pet care experience
I have been a pet lover since my young years, and have owned dogs, cats, rabbits, chinchillas, ferrets, fish, and aquatic frogs. My extensive background in pet care, involved giving rescue animals a safe place to reside until rehomed, or I adopted them if they were unwell and no one wanted the challenge. My experience is 30+ years. I own 2 small dogs and a cat as well, and myself and my teenage daughter have experience with medication adminstration. We do all our own nail trims and grooming at home for our fur babies. Definitely, love and spoil them with good care, and only feed best food, and pure protein treats. You can rest assured your fur kids will be treated as well as my own fur kids.

Carrie-Lynn does an exceptional job; she treated my dog like one of her own and made sure that he felt settled and happy while boarding at her place. I could tell that my dog enjoyed himself, and I appreciate how much attention was paid to exercising him and keeping him engaged. She provides lots of updates and communicates before and during the stay, making the whole process reassuring. The set-up that she has for dog boarding is very clean and works so well for dogs who do better in a separate environment from other pups. I will absolutely be having my dog stay with her whenever I’m away, and I know he’ll be in the best hands.
Carrie-Lynn looked after our 3 cats while we were away in Europe for 3 weeks. She did an amazing job with our fur-babies!! Even our "Nova" who doesn't like most people-- very much liked her. :) She sent updates and photos everyday and cleaned up any cat mess. I'll be using Carrie-Lynn as a sitter again soon, highly recommended-- 5 stars!!

I have a fenced and separated yard, with a furnished heated home like bunkie on one side for your fur kid(s) whilst you are away. I only take in, and board one families fur kid(s) at a time. This assures no illness is passed on to your fur kid(s). After each visit, everything is sanitized. The bunkie and yard is seperated from my two dogs, and their dog run. This ensures all fur kid(s) a safe & stress free environment. I still require vet information, and all your fur kids vaccinations must be up to date. If you want me to visit your home 2x a day, that can also be arranged, but having my own family I do not stay overnight. All boarded fur kids have a couch and comfy like home setting in the heated, powered bunkie. I do include a daily walk with boarding, and also enjoy play time in the fenced yard. You can view pictures of the inside of the bunkie where your fur kid(s) will be boarding and the fenced yard area they will have to play in. All pictures are located at the end of my photo gallery. I always start with a meet and greet. I board, doggy daycare, home/pet visits (no over nights) and I walk dogs that are well natured, kind, and must be well trained. If your fur kid(s) have any fears, dislikes, anxieties, or any medical issues I will need this Information in advance before their visit. All vaccinations must be up to date, with vet contact information for all services offered.
A typical day
We live near the Fisheries, on east end of Pictou, and like to adventure to new places in our neighborhood, and also walk down to the Jitney Trail & back home as well. I will walk your dog(s) seperate from my own.

Availability
I am self employed as a caregiver, home, pet sitter, and a housekeeper. I work in the Pictou County district. Having flexibility and time to care for my family and yours is my upmost priority. I do boarding, and pet home care visits, but do not stay over night at your residence. You must transport your pet(s) to and from my residence as well as please bring their kennel, toys, foods, treats, and dishes. I can supply the filtered water daily. Thank you.
