Dogs and cats have always been a part of my life. I grew up around both and have always considered them to be another member of my family. In other words, I know that they are your babies, and I will treat them as such. I took my former roommates' dog on walks to the park, where we would play fetch, and, after I moved to my current apartment, I am still their go-to pet sitter when they are out of town. I had a cat for over 18 years, who was the king of my household and always had a clean litter box, fresh water and food, and, of course, plenty of cuddles. I've taken care of diabetic cats and have administered pills and shots. I have a sense for when an animal is not at ease, when they need some loving, and when they need to have their space. I follow your care instructions to the letter, and if I have questions, I don't hesitate to contact you for clarification. I love animals and consider it a privilege to be their surrogate parent while you're away. Your pet will be spoiled with lots of love, fun walks, play time, and treats (if that's allowed)! Here's a little information about my current situation since the pandemic. I'm in the midst of a career transition and am driving for Uber/Lyft typically Thursdays through Mondays from the late afternoon (around 3ish) to nighttime (around midnight), with Tuesdays and Wednesdays as my days off. I can alter my schedule, if need be, to take care of your furry companion; however, you should be aware that I will be unavailable for at least six hours at a time on the days that I drive for Uber/Lyft. If your animal needs constant companionship and cannot be left alone for at least six hours, then, unfortunately, we are not a good fit. Please contact me with any questions you may have.
