I have owned and fostered dogs for many years. I've had dogs as small as 5lbs and as large as 150lbs. I have experience with dogs that have had extreme anxiety.

The most important thing we would need to know about a dog before it comes to our house is that he or she is good with children and other dogs. Our dogs are used to having other dogs in our home and have always done very well.
A typical day
Your dog will receive a lot of attention from kids and another dog who loves a playmate. Or they will receive attention from grown ups and the senior doggies who just like to snuggle. We have a dog-friendly neighborhood where there are friends and neighbors walking dogs at all times of the day. We also have a big backyard where your dog can run and play. I like to take doggies on car rides too. Dogs are allowed to sit on our couches and get in our beds. We are very easy going!

I am a stay-at-home mom/home school parent. My husband also works from home. There is almost always someone home and dogs are rarely left alone.
