Hi there! I'm Carrie. I have been a pet owner and caretaker for over 15 years! I am experienced in walking, feeding, and otherwise caring for several types of pets. I currently own a cat and a dog, but I can also care for rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, and fish! My main option here is dog walking, but I can also do drop-in visits as needed.

Carrie was such a wonderful caretaker while we toured Scotland for our 5 cats plus our daughter brought her cat as well. It was nice to know they were being taken care so we could enjoy the trip. Highly recommend!
Carrie took great care of my bunny while I was out for the weekend. Carrie is extremely responsible and quick to respond to messages. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone to watch their pet.
I never worried I felt my cat was in excellent hands! Only thing is she gave me the evil eye when I got home from vacation and proceeded to slash my right hand and wrist when I pet her though she indicated she wanted to be petted. Her way of saying “don’t go off Again?”

I will ensure that dogs remain safely leashed during all walks. If the temperature of asphalt is too warm for walks I make sure to stick to grassy areas. I ensure that I know current vet care and contact numbers for emergency situations.

It is important for me to know any anxiety or aggressive triggers for dogs before walks. For example my own dog is highly sensitive to traffic noises and will begin to panic when spooked. I also need to know what commands or hand signals to use when gaining a dog's attention.
A typical day
I love to take dogs for walks around the local parks or your very own neighborhood! We spend time checking out all the new smells, in addition to taking care of business. I also enjoy mental stimulations games through puzzle toys or training sessions.

Availability
I currently work part-time so I have plenty of time to care for your animals and take them for walks. I am available most weekends for drop-in visits, and I will house sit as needed!
