Pet care experience
I'm ready to take on the challenge of tiring out your energetic puppy, or bounding down the street with your 100lb Bernese! I've taken care of some strong, active dogs -- including an unneutered Australian Shepherd puppy with whom I spent the past year hiking and playing lots of catch. Before him, I grew up taking care of my neighbors' pitbull-mix who was incredibly strong and incredibly affectionate. I had a Boston Terrier growing up, though, so I love small dogs, too!

Carrie is an outstanding pet sitter! Over the course of two sequential weekends, she took excellent care of our pets and our home. She easily won the affections of both of our pups, the younger of whom had never been cared for by anyone except immediate family, and the older of whom is wary of strangers. Carrie was very responsive to our requests and concerns, always communicated clearly, and willingly tailored her schedule to support our needs. We wholeheartedly recommend her.
Carrie was phenomenal with my pets. She went above and beyond what she signed up for. I initially needed someone to stay with my puppy who was just spayed. However, one of our other dogs (her mom) became very hostile after we brought her home from the surgery. We are clueless as to what the sudden change in behavior was/could be but it didn't scare Carrie away at all. In fact, she even helped me problem solve some solutions for the time being. She was quick to respond and wasn't scared at all of my bad girls when they weren't behaving. I will absolutely be calling Carrie again for future help and highly recommend to anyone with any breed/needs.
Carrie did everything that I had asked her to and my pets were happy and obviously well cared for when I returned home. I will not think twice about having Carrie loo after my girls in the future

Please let me know whether there are places or things to avoid on walks! As for my other most frequently asked questions: what can the dog eat? Where can it go in the house? How frequently can I give treats? Where should I put poop bags?
A typical day
I love to tire dogs out with lots of activity! I’ll happily take them on long walks, or play fetch for an hour. If your dogs are friendly and there is a dog park near your house, I can walk them there! At this time, though, I cannot drive your dog anywhere.

Availability
I work multiple part-time jobs. Currently I have availability Tues/Thurs afternoons, and Fridays-Sundays all day. Since I work for school systems, my flexibility increases around holidays (when not traveling).
