Pet care experience
I truly believe pets are like children! They need love, respect, encouragement, playtime, freedom to move & exercise, and companionship/relationship. I have lived with & cared for all kinds of pets my whole life. From chickens and horses to cats and dogs to rabbits and birds. Currently, I have a handsome 10-yr-old boxer, 29-yr-old Arabian horse, and a beautiful 6-yr-old female green cheek conure! While spending time with fur baby pups/adults, I love taking them out for exercise, playing with toys, practicing simple sit/heel/stay/etc commands using gentle, loving, and kind encouragement! Of course, I will love interacting with all types of pets also! All animals are like heaven to me and I hope to meet yours soon!

Carrie was an absolute pleasure to communicate with and walk our dog while we were gone for the day! She was super communicative, sent us pics, gave us updates, and our dog had a wonderful time with her. You can tell she is a genuine dog person and it was such a relief having her come in and walk our dog. This is the first time we used rover and had someone check in on our dog/walk her so we were nervous but Carrie was a blessing to find! Will definitely book with her again when we need her services! When caring for pets in my client’s home, I provide fresh water (adding a few ice cubes for extra coolness), wash their dog food bowl, and be sure all doors are secured. If the owner has special requests (grab the mail, water some plants, etc.) I’m happy to accommodate!

It’s always good to know things like: is the dog leash trained, social with other animals, what commands you prefer, any fears, etc. Additionally, is your pup trained to walk on the left or right side of the handler.
A typical day
I love taking pups on the boardwalk, rail trail, or go to a favorite park! If I have one who needs a less stimulating atmosphere, I’m just as happy to walk and play wherever is safe and secure feeling for your furbaby! Activities we can do are jogging, fetch, basic training (sit, stay, come, heel), or just snuggle and take it easy.
