Hello! My family always had dogs growing up. Once I moved out, I started caring for my own. I have co-parented by boyfriend's two cats for 2 years. We also have large breed, rescue dog at home we adopted together who is reactive, so I have some experience with a dog who is anxious or frightful. I have experience with some small animals as well if you have critters at home. I can't wait to meet you furry family member!

Carolyn did a great job with my anxious/reactive Bruce. She was very respectful, and has experience with her own anxious pup—something I found comforting and reassuring. We arranged a meet and greet and had a “test run” drop in visit to allow Bruce to warm up to his new friend. I can’t wait to utilize Carolyn again and again.
Carolyn is a very thoughtful and involved pet owner and sitter. She is always trying to be the best dog mom. She has very creative ways of keeping her own dog entertained and is not afraid to put the effort in. This is also true with the pets she has pet sat! She does her best to meet their needs.

I will very glady give your dog some fresh air with a stroll around the neighborhood or give them some loving on the comfort of their couch. Cats need love, too. I am happy to offer a head scratch or just warm lap to curl up in.

I own a reactive rescue so I know some management skills, like clicker training and other distraction techniques. Please still let me know if you're dog will have any responses to stimuli.
A typical day
I love Durand Eastman Park for it's size and wooded areas. It also has a dog friendly beach of you have a water loving breed.

Availability
During the work week, I am not available in the morning but I am available during the evenings after four. I usually have open availability most weekends.
