We have used Carolyn now several times for sitting during the day and overnight stays. Our dog, lola, always comes back happy and tired. I love her updates and like how she spends active time with our active dog. Carolyn is wonderful!

Another wonderful experience with Carolyn. I love the updates we get throughout Tilly's stay. We feel very lucky to have found Carolyn and her husband.

Tilly had the best time with Carolyn. We appreciated all the communication and pictures throughout her stay. It was apparent that she was treated like she was their dog. Will definitely be a repeat client.

First time using Rover and Carolyn took such great care of Nami! She made sure to ask about Nami’s routine and habits so that she would feel more comfortable in her home and Carolyn provided lots of pictures and updates throughout the day. I’m super impressed with her open communication and level of care.

Safety, trust & environment

What sets me apart from other dog sitters? I can handle most dogs on leash. I study dog's behavior and help with reactivity on walks. Of course treats will be given, but within moderation. I use a lot of clicker training in house. People will advertise lots of kisses, treats, and love, but my interpretation is different. My priority is safety for your dog along with environmental awareness of off leash animals that might come towards your dog. Bad experiences will take your dog training 3 steps back. I am their guardian, confident protector. Your dog is looking for a leader. The more time they spend with me, the more confident they will feel when they return home.

Allergies, likes/dislikes, reactivity? Prefer inside dogs. What is your method of flea prevention? Has your dog ever been trained? How many hours do you put into training? Crate trained? Anxiety? Pull on leash? Daycare is typically 10 hours. Any additional hour will be charged $8. On walks, I do not allow your dog to greet other dogs for safety precaution. Normally, I would cross street or walk opposite direction from other dogs. I specialize in doodle breeds (grooming tools readily available: Wahl KM cordless with professional competition blades, sanitized). Grooming service upon request. FREE hygiene grooming (ie nails, ears, paw pads) service FIRST VISIT as my sign of appreciation. Hygiene groom is $15. Full bath and cut (depending on weight) under 40lb is $80, over 40lb $100 --plus or minus depending on coat. Note: I will request for Meet and Greet for most services. Walking service does not require meet and greet with my dog, as I will solely focus on your dog. Daycare services Meet and Greet: We will do slow introduction activities, like walking pass each other, shaking hands while dog is in heel/sit position, walking in circle of one another, let dogs butt sniff, while walking away on a positive note.

A typical day

Morning and evening walks (20-30 mins) Mid afternoon fetch or jog (depending on weather). There’s a mini park across the street, walking distance. Long leash will be provided at mini park. Short local hikes and trails if it is a nice day.

It is a privilege on my end and your end. My home is like "Marie Kondo"- tidy and organized. I have Kirkland baby wipes to wipe every paw that comes through the door. Couches are covered in blankets. Spot odor cleaning spray ready for accidents (I understand that this happens when dog is in new environment). I am very compassionate towards your dog. Please be mindful of my home as if it is your own. Your dog will have a wonderful experience. I am very transparent as the day progress, and will frequently update with photos and videos. I believe in quality service over how many dogs I have a day. Taking care of dogs are my passion. I will address your dog's needs, most of the time it is engagement and quality time at the park (not dog park, just a regular park with me and my dog).
