Pet care experience
All my life I have been surrounded by animals. I have had horses, dogs and cats. I presently have a dog that was rescued from the Bahamas hurricane a number of years ago plus eight rescued cats. My husband and I focus on caring for senior dogs in order to give them a "second chance". I volunteer on a weekly basis at a local cat shelter. I know how hard it is to be separated from your pet when you travel or go on vacation. Please be assured that I can be your pet's loving family while you're away! I just retried from a full-time job and have many hours in my day to help you with your pet(s). I look forward to meeting your pet! I will take the safety of your pet very seriously and deal with your pet responsibly depending on your rules and safety tips for your pet.

Carolyn is an amazing pet sitter who went "above and beyond" to ensure our kitty was well fed, comfortable, and entertained. We enjoyed her daily check-in photos and commentary, and it was clear she felt protective of both Phoenix and the small colony of feral cats we feed. During the remnants of Hurricane Ian, the bedding in an outdoor dog house set up to give the feral cats a shelter in winter and a place to keep their food out of the rain, got terribly wet. Carolyn took it on herself to launder the bedding and provide temporary padding while she was doing the laundry. Phoenix didn't miss us much given all the care Carolyn gave him!
Carolyn was a wonderful sitter for my new puppy. She kept me updated throughout her entire stay with texts and pictures. This was the first time I left my puppy with a sitter and she made me feel very comfortable leaving her. I would definitely have Carolyn watch my dog again.
Carolyn was great. Our cat is a challenge with his litterbox and Carolyn was gracious, helpful, reliable, and really gave us peace of mind knowing our fur baby was in great hands

I believe in stimulating your dog physically while being patient at the same time. While walking, I know that they need the time to "sniff out today's news" from their surroundings. I set the pace according to your dog. I like to walk dogs in a large park or wherever they are familiar.
