Pet care experience
I've lived with new puppies, adopted dogs, small dogs, and big dogs. I've cared for friends' dogs when they're out of town, always going above and beyond to make the dog feel at home. I have even made rice with chicken stock since it was the pet's favorite dinner! I work from home. It is much happier to work from home all day when there is a pooch around, sitting by my feet, on my bed, or on my couch in a patch of sunshine. Let me and your pet keep each other company! I have a small private deck so your dog can enjoy the sunshine and fresh air in between walks. I have always felt a deep connection with dogs, and the ones that I have had the pleasure to take care of through Rover have brought me so much joy. can't wait to shower your pet with love!

This is our second time boarding our furbaby, Tyson, with Carolyn. Carolyn has always been attentive and resposive, and gives Tyson so much love. We know he’s in good hands and so well taken care of when he’s with Carolyn.
The besssssstttt
Carolyn took great care of our lab-mix Kai! She was very communicative and made us feel so assured that he was safe and happy while we were away. He can be a challenge to walk and a little particular, and Carolyn had no issues! She also left our apartment very neat. We would highly recommend her to anyone else!

I trust the owner to let me know the details. I've had dogs in my life since age 5, various temperaments, ages and breeds, so I feel like I have a pretty good grasp on how to care for dogs. I'd like to know if the dog likes to "meet" other dogs as we walk, whether it is allowed off-leash, what games it likes the most, and if there are any ways the dog does / does not like to be petted. And any tips to make the pup as happy as possible!
A typical day
Definitely go on walks! I work from home so I go outside in the morning, at lunch, and at sunset (and sometimes more!) to get some fresh air -- great times to bring your dog with me. If your dog likes the park, or to play tug, or to cuddle, I am happy to oblige.

I work remotely from home so I’m flexible! I love going on many walks. I wake up and go to sleep early. I don’t have meetings longer than 1.5 hours.
