I have taken care of animals for my entire life. I have cared for dogs, cats, horses, and chickens, including elderly animals. I enjoyed walking my own dogs every day for eighteen years, and I enjoy meeting new dogs and walking with them. I love cats, and currently live with a wonderful calico. I love to discover each animal's special skills and habits and passions. I am happy to take care of plants while you are away as well.

Carolyn was very communicative and caring for our 3 cats. She sent daily photos and provided updates on their behavior. She cared for our cats as if they were our own and we’re very happy they were in her care!
I highly recommend Carolyn! She is reliable and loves animals. She has befriended and cared for my sweet but temperamental calico cat, Maggie, many times. Also, Maggie requires medication twice daily, and Carolyn is adept at dispensing the pills using a pill shooter. Carolyn is also very experienced with dogs, having mothered three dogs over a period of 15 years. I feel lucky to be able to call on her for pet sitting.

A typical day
Every creature has their own unique personality and favorite ways of interacting. I enjoy walking dogs and throwing balls for them, and playing with cats, or providing a lap for them. For shy animals, I will give them space and try to engage them without causing them to feel uncomfortable. I like to get to know animals and find out what interests them and what makes them happy.
