Pet care experience
I’ve owned and taken care of dogs ever since I was a child. I grew up with four golden retrievers, but now I have a rescue of my own. I’ve cared for dogs as small as 5-6lbs and all the way up to massive German shepherds weighing around 115lbs so i’m comfortable around most sizes. Typically friends and neighbors have relied on me to walk, feed and play with their dogs as well as watch them overnight. Also, even though I have never owned cats, I’ve cared for them as well, including ones with medical conditions, dietary issues, etc. I’m certified in pet CPR and basic life support through Recover Initiative, created with the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care and the Veterinary Emergency Critical Care Society. I’m happy to brush and administer medications (no extra charge) and can also bring in mail, water plants, etc as extra help :)
Reviews
Prompt professional and most importantly great with dogs
Carolyn is amazing! She helps us when we’re out of town and takes such great care of Ace! We always feel so comfortable and secure knowing she will treat him like her own and give us detailed updates. We’re so appreciative for her help!
Thank you so much for walking Rosie on such a gross day !
Carolyn is THE BEST! I could not have asked for a more communicative, attentive, and thorough dog sitter for my two pups. It’s no wonder she is in such high demand as a sitter—she’s absolutely amazing and we felt completely at ease leaving our dogs in her capable hands for a long weekend.

Information Carolyn M. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know your preferences when it comes to where we walk, if they can interact with other dogs, their favorite place to receive pets and scratchies, if they need any medication, if they have a tendency to try to slip out of their collar, etc. Those kind of details are all very important! *We will make sure to go over all of this and more at our meet and greet :)
A typical day
We can go for long walks, get all the good sniffs in around the neighborhood, play fetch or other games/toys. I’ll make sure they get plenty of fresh water, lots of belly rubs and treats (if allowed).

Availability
Drop-ins & Dog Walking: These two services are the same for me; you can let me know how you’d like me to spend the time booked! (For example: 10 minutes to walk, 10 minutes to feed and 10 minutes to water plants and give some belly rubs to your fur babies.) Boarding & Doggy Day Care - Important Notes I work from home so your pup(s) will get love, attention and play time all throughout the day and I only accept one client at a time in order to provide the best care possible. During the work week, your pet would not be alone for more than 2 hours at a time and on weekends, no longer than 4-5 hours. If your dog requires more constant care, please let me know at the time of booking to make sure we can accommodate. Dogs must be up to date on vaccinations and be on a flea & tick preventative. They also need to be house-trained (no destructive behaviors or frequent accidents inside) and be good with other dogs as I do have a dog myself. Unfortunately, I do not accept dogs under the age of 1 for boarding and daycare, but I am happy to drop-in or walk them! Before I can accept a booking, a short trial (1-2 hours) is required to see how your dog reacts when you are gone. If you are planning to board your pup(s) for longer than 3 days and have never boarded with me before, I may require a trial night stay. —— My doggy day care is probably best for dogs that have low to moderate energy levels and want/need companionship throughout the day. They would get at least 2-3 walks/potty breaks and because I only accept one pup per day, they would get plenty of attention and love, exercise, a comfy place to lay and will always have access to fresh water. I do have a fenced in yard but the patio has to be redone so I don’t let pups out there for now (this will hopefully change before the end of the year). —
