Pet care experience
Having used Rover in the past, I know how invaluable it is to have that level of comfort when leaving your dog. Traditional boarding was never an option for us; our dogs needed to be around people and kept in a loving and affectionate household. I realize that is what you are looking for too! Being that our dogs are tiny, I will only be caring for other small dogs. We only board small to medium-sized (less than 20 pounds, siblings ok, or unique circumstances - feel free to ask). We have been lifelong dog owners and care for those belonging to family and friends on many occasions. I am a credentialed school teacher by profession (active) but currently working from home. Our children have volunteered at the SPCA in Milpitas throughout their school years. Fun fact - my first job was as a dog grooming assistant for several years. We are experienced when it comes to pet care.

Carolyn took very good care of our 9 month old puppy. She sent us lots of updates and pictures during the 24 hour stay. We have a hard time getting Mochi to eat but Carolyn was able to get her to eat! She is very knowledgeable about dogs and gave us many tips. Carolyn assured us that Mochi seemed happy and relaxed. We will definitely book Carolyn again!
Carolyn and her family were absolutely amazing with our dog. Very organized, professional, knows exactly what the dogs need / want at all times and she sent us some amazing pictures every day showing how much he was having. Amazing experience. Thanks again.
Carolyn was excellent, right from the start. She is organized and responsive and kept our 8mo. old puppy on a daily routine. She frequently sent pictures and updates while we were out of town. I felt confident our puppy was being well taken care of, AND having a ton of fun in her indoor/outdoor spaces!

Being a stay-at-home mom of three means we are well organized, reliable, and adhere to a schedule, and your dog will fit right in. I am very engaged and remain committed to sending photos and updates while your dog is under our care. You will have peace of mind and assurance that your pet is in good hands.

Our dogs do not have a mean bone in their bodies, and they are non-aggressive nor possessive. That type of temperament is a deal-breaker; if your dog has any of these tendencies, we are not a good fit. Aside from that, I would like to know if they have any known health issues, housebroken bedtime/morning routine, and how we can best personalize their stay. Our dogs are current with all of their vaccinations, and I expect yours to be too.
A typical day
Our neighborhood is very walkable; count on at least two a day! If your pup likes to play catch or chase, we have you covered! Our Havanese are very welcoming and playful, and they tire each other out by the day's end. Your dog will enjoy lots of companionship and attention from our family. I included photos to help showcase what a typical day might look like and the household environment you can expect. If our home seems like a great fit and you have further questions, please feel free to reach out and ask away. Daycare (9 am-5 pm) Boarding (24 hours) Extended Care Rate; nightly rates are based on a 24 hour time period from drop-off to pick-up. The following rates may apply; 2-8 additional hours +50% of the sitter's nightly rate. 8+ additional hours +100% of the sitter's nighty rate.

Availability
My days start early, so drop-off and pickup times are pretty flexible if doggy daycare is what you are looking for (9 am-5 pm). I will follow any instructions you leave for me with the utmost care to keep your doggy happy! Our dogs are crate trained at night and free to lounge inside during the day, and they do that well! We have a large fenced-in backyard that your dog will enjoy supervised playtime. I spend lots of time outside gardening so that all dogs will get plenty of sunshine air.
