Pet care experience
From an early age, I would take in all of the stray dogs, and cats. If there were pets to play with, you could find me outside with them. I prefer four legged company over two, any day. Whether it's exercising, or just cuddling, you can't beat the content feeling that a pet provides.

Carolyn came for a short 4 day drop ins. It seemed from the rover cards, she was engaged with my cat. Was doing what I asked. One occasion her replies seemed snippy. When I arrived there was lots of potty in the litter. She was there twice that day so there’s no reason that should’ve been full. Carolyn always said the water was full but upon arrival, the fountain was half full and that’s not what I requested plus it’s not safe. Lastly, I instructed where the litter should be put. She said she knew (snippy). It was all left on my washer. Lastly and importantly, she was brushing him daily. Carolyn NEVER mentioned the allergy reaction happening on his face and neck! It was obvious! No attention to detail. I would immediately tell the owner and provide treatment.
Carolyn was the best Rover sitter we’ve ever had. She came by twice pre-sitting to ensure she understood all the needs. She asked a lot of pertinent questions. We agreed on all aspects of the kitty sitting upfront and she did all we asked. There’s was a great amount of contact every day from beginning to end with a lot of photos, videos, and updates. We’re so happy our kitties were well cared for. It allowed us to relax during our travels.
Carolyn has watched my Frenchy for years while I was out of town working. He is always happy to see her, I'm afraid he might like her as much as he does me!

I have an American Bully that is young, but very well behaved, and will sit on command. He minds very well. I also have 2 high energy cats. One is a tortie that is 6 years old, and the other is a 4 year old tabby. I love both cats and dogs, and I will care for your cat or dog with the same love and compassion as I do my own. I prefer their company, to most people. My Frenchie crossed over the rainbow bridge in July 2023. He was 11 years old, and the sweetest dog ever. I miss him dearly.

I would like to know about your pet's energy level, and whether or not they get along with other animals, that we may encounter while on a walk. Also, if you have multiple pets, how they interact with eachother is important to me. I would love a meet and greet with you and your furry friend/s before providing services, to say hello. No aggressive dogs please.
A typical day
Our activity, will depend on your pet's energy level. Walking has always been a fun activity for me, and having your pet as company would make it even more enjoyable. I am also not too shabby at throwing a ball for your furry friend. If your pet isn't very active, we can cuddle on the couch. For cats, I am a great playmate, since I have 2 of my own.

Availability
I retired from my job of 28 years, last year, so I have plenty of time to give love to my animals, and to yours as well. Being home more, has strengthened the bond I share with my fur babies, and the care I am able to give them.
