After going over and over the sitters on Rover I just knew Carolyn was the best option. I can’t even explain what peace of mind it is to be able to leave our dogs and go on a long trip, knowing that they are happy and well cared for. We can travel again! We even had a family emergency and had to travel on short notice, Carolyn stepped in at the last minute and it was one less thing we had to worry about. She is mature, experienced, and caring. We cannot recommend Carolyn highly enough.
Carolyn is the best pet caretaker we have ever encountered. We were stressed about leaving our older (16), and relatively high-maintenance pup at home while traveling, but Carolyn was a joy to work with and we came home to a happy, healthy, and very relaxed dog. Carolyn was extremely professional, incredibly friendly, and very responsive to both while making arrangements and while we were out of town. She took excellent care of our home and, more important, she was phenomenal with our dog. They had an easy connection immediately upon meeting and Carolyn went above and beyond to ensure pup was safe and comfortable while we were gone - of course with walks and cuddles but also by administering medications and checking on doggo in the night. Carolyn is an absolute gem, we cannot wait to work with her again.
We so enjoyed having Carolyn watch our pup Roux. Roux exhibits anxiety and reactivity in specific situations and Carolyn was excellent at listening and handling those situations with care. We loved getting her updates while we were gone and seeing pictures of Roux having a great time at home. Carolyn was also a fabulous house guest, she left the house perfectly clean and ready for us, which was so appreciated after a long flight back home. We look forward to having Carolyn watch Roux in the future.

Your privacy is important. -I clearly communicate with you beforehand to understand the needs of your pet and the standards of your home so that you can benefit from a sense of peace while you’re away. ***SUMMER HEAT SAFETY*** Due to the summer heat, I only take your pooch for walks at a time of day when the temperature is below 80 degrees. During the day they will benefit from grassy potty breaks, hydration, and vigorous play indoors with cool A/C to keep them safe and happy. Have a wonderful summer! FAQ: -Vaccinated? Yes, I am fully vaccinated. -Boosted? Yes, I stay updated with boosters as well.

-Please let me know if there is a schedule you want me to follow for you. I know that animals find routines soothing, so I want to do my best to adhere to what their life is normally like while you’re gone in an effort to soothe any anxiety they may have from your absence. -Also, I'm happy to assist in their training, we can discuss the good habits you want positively reinforced during my time with them. -Reactivity, if they have any triggers I would love to know, so I can be on the look out to protect and soothe them when they need it most.
A typical day
TYPICAL DAY: Your fur baby’s day will include lots of love, pets and cuddles. Exercise will be tailored to their individual needs (age, weight, breed, previous injuries etc.) so they can receive the mental and physical stimulation they need to be happy and well cared for until your return.

My day is spent working from my laptop and doing volunteer work. My last pup passed away last year at 16 years old. I'm not ready to get another baby yet, but I have all the time, experience and love to give to yours.
