Pet care experience
I would be happy to care for your pet(s). I’ve had dogs - large and giant breeds, puppies through seniors - for most of my life. I’ve owned cats for over 20 years. I’ve always wanted to work more closely with animals because it brings me a lot of joy. I personally have one dog at the moment, Kaiser, a Golden Retriever/Hovawart mix. I also have 2 brother cats, Jinx and Pip, who are elderly but have spicy attitudes! I am experienced at giving medication, using a prong collar and Educational collar, and I’m more than happy to help however is needed to make you and your pet comfortable. I am absolutely trustworthy and dependable and I will shower your furry friend with love. I recently ended a long career as a preschool speech language pathologist and now I'm looking for a new outlet for my time and energy. On our first meet and greet, I will bring along the questions listed below, so that I can get a full picture of your pet(s).

1) Vaccinations must be up to date and I need to see current proof of this from the veterinarian. 2) Relevant medical history (health issues, allergies, medications, behavioral issues, etc) 3) Relevant socializing history - Typical responsiveness of the pet toward people and animals. 4) History of biting, aggression, or leash reactivity 5) Does the dog walk well on a leash? 6) Do you/have you utilized any tools to shape behavior, such as educational collar or prong collar or anything else? 7) Special dietary information. 8) Your rules regarding your pet (Allowed on furniture? Allowed to have treats?, etc)
A typical day
This will be customized depending on the individual pet. I would typically walk around the neighborhood, I can play with your dog in your house or yard, and use their favorite toys with them.

I have a very flexible schedule and I am more than happy to help with dog-walking or pet drop-in visits throughout the week. I am the primary caretaker of pets in my own household.
