Pet care experience
From an early age I began helping my father raise beagles.Most of my adult life my husband and I have owned dogs, both indoor and outdoor. For the last 15 years I have kept dogs for friends when they needed to be away from home, from an overnight to six weeks. I love dogs and enjoy being with them. I believe the best solution when a family must leave home is to have a loving, responsible caregiver for their beloved pet(s), and I want to be that person.

Carolyn was just wonderful. Didn't have to worry about my dog the whole trip, and she kept me updated with timely texts regarding his situation. Would definitely recommend her, but schedule early. She's in great demand!
Maya had never been left with a pet sitter before, so I was understandably nervous about it. However, within a few hours, Carolyn sent me a text message with a picture of Maya lying on her back and getting her belly rubbed. This instantly put my mind at ease, and I knew that Maya had found her forever pet sitter.
Carolyn is always my #1 pick to watch my dog. She goes above & beyond to make sure he’s well taken care of. & He absolutely adores her. I can’t say thank you enough!

I have no other pets at my home and a secure fenced yard. Due to a bad wrist, I am unable to handle larger dogs and must keep to small to medium size dogs. I am ok with dogs on the couch, but not on the bed.

A typical day
We have several parks nearby where I walk the dogs and I also take them to a marina nearby and walk in the grassy areas there. I keep the dogs on leash when I have them out. At home, we have toys and balls for play and incorporate the dogs into our daily life.

I work from my home, so am able to be flexible on days and hours for pet sitting. I am willing to host dogs at my home or care for them at yours for short periods of time.
