Pet care experience
Hello, I am a happy, 39 year old, female with three small lap dogs. They were shelter dogs, rescued from the south and now that I have them, I can't imagine life without them. I’ve been taking care of other dogs in their homes for 10 years. All shapes and sizes! Cat care as well. I love animals big and small. That being said, I’m a small person and I can take care of all size dogs as long as the big, big ones are good listeners.or have a fenced yard! ;) I like taking care of dogs during the day because I’ve always been concerned with them being alone for too long. Not only is holding your bladder hard but I imagine they get bored and lonely too. We know our furry friends have personalities just like people do. It’s important to keep them stimulated and busy, even when you’re not able to do it yourself. A tired dog is a happy dog. Please feel free to ask me anything, I look forward to working with you.

Carolyn was fantastic! This was the first time we used a cat sitter while we were away, but we had nothing to worry about with Carolyn. She was so great with our cat- she really took lots of time with him and made him feel comfortable and loved while we were gone. She kept us updated each day (and made us laugh with her daily reports and photos of our cat). Would highly recommend Carolyn!
Carolyn was great with our cat Willow. She took to heart our warnings about Willow's "personality" and kept a respectful distance, while still providing top quality care based on our instructions. She was responsive, flexible, and gave us humorous updates on Willow's grumpy status while we were away. We will absolutely be using her services in the future for both our cat and dog. She's a lovely human and obvious animal lover. Highly recommend!

I follow all the guidelines that families lay out for me. Especially for outdoor cats that need to be inside by bedtime! I keep everything I bring and eat out of reach incase we have any curious critters. I have worked with aggressive, anxious and high energy dogs. I take my time and follow their lead to gain trust.

I always check for medical conditions, medications, fireworks or thunderstorm fears (and how your pet handles them). These are key things I need to know before you leave.
A typical day
I typically work from 12-3p M, W, R, F and on Tuesdays I do 11a-3p. I do not work on weekends (not counting dog sitting). I love being outside so I will get them out with me as much as possible. Walks, ball play or just hanging out - we will be in nature!

Availability
I am a part time caregiver. I work one 3 to 4 hour shift during the day with elderly clients, so I am not gone from your pets house for long. It’s a very flexible job and helps to fit my schedule and yours!
