I have a passion and love for all animals. I will always the best interest of the animal I am caring for before anything else which is why I took a break from Rover for the past few years. While my Tortie cat, London, tolerated dogs she preferred to be the only animal of her kind. She recently passed away due to illness just shy of 14yrs old. I have been involved in dog rescue for 15+years and owned a very spunky, spirited and loving Golden Retriever who also has passed due to illness after 13 years. While London and Paige will always be in my heart I do miss having an animal in my life. I am reliable, dependable and patient especially when animals are involved. When your dog or cat is in my care they will be cared for and loved as if they were my own. I learned a lot caring for Paige who had quite the "personality". While she LOVED people she would test boundaries and was possessive of items that she claimed as hers. Through the years I also dealt with a variety of medical issues. When I first adopted Paige she had seizures. After consistent monitoring it was discovered the seizures were caused by a food allergy. Paige was placed on a grain-free diet and never had a seizure again. I also understand caring for a senior dog. You need to give just a little more TLC and patience as they just don't move as fast as they once did.
