I have been around dogs my whole life. I grew up with Australian Shepherd’s so I’m used to dogs who need a ton of exercise. I am walking distance to Fort Mason and Lafayette Park and absolutely love taking dogs on as long of walks as possible. I live in a large studio apartment with plenty of space for dogs of any size. My brother and sister and both vets so animal care runs in the family. I really do love watching dogs and wish I could do it full time. That being said, I do have a full time job that lets me work from home, so I would prefer a dog that is okay with lying around while I’m on calls. I typically do a 30-45 minute walk in the morning, a bathroom break around 12, and a 1-2hr walk in the evening. Obviously every dog is different and I am more than happy to do shorter or longer walks if necessary. I am perfectly happy watching a lazy dog who just wants to cuddle as well. I have watched anything from a St. Bernard to a corgi, so I am very familiar with all types of behaviors. On weekends I love taking the dogs to parks to socialize, so I would prefer dogs who love people and other dogs. I also love taking photos so you will get plenty of updates while you’re away :) I’m currently working full time but have a very flexible schedule. Your pet will get a long walk in the morning, a lunch walk, and a long walk before dinner. I never leave them alone for more than 4 hours. I am in a large studio apartment right next to a dog park. It’s very easy and safe for me to take them out whenever need be. My apartment has enough space for a dog bed or crate depending on what they’re most comfortable with.
