Caroline’s Dog Boarding
Pet care experience
**Due to my work schedule, I am unable to book clients more than about a month and a half prior to sitting. Thank you for understanding!** Hello there! My name is Caroline and I would love to take care of your pups or kitties while you are out of town! Dogs and cats have been apart of my family since before I was born and I’ve had my own for the past 14 years. Maysee, my rescue dog I had for 12 years passed June 2023. I miss her terribly, but want to keep sitting to get my puppy love. I live with my partner, Zack in a spacious tri-level house. We have plenty of room for a crate, if needed, and play time and have large back yard! We have a senior cat and dog, but both still have a lot of energy and get along well with others. I go on hour-long walks everyday (literally, every single day, rain or shine). I have plenty of experience handling multiple dogs on a walk. I live within walking distance of several dog friendly parks and frequent them often. If your dog is one for adventures, I’ll bring them along on my hikes. I have experience with giving medicine, both pill and liquid form, experience administering ear and eye drops, as well as injection shots if your pet requires it. I will take exceptional care of your sweet pup(s) and look forward to meeting them!
Reviews
Caroline is Hudson's favorite sitter. She always does a wonderful job of looking after him! I appreciate not worrying about him while I'm out of town.
Caroline was great! I got daily updates and pics the whole time and buckeye got plenty of cuddles and fun!
We had a great experience with Caroline! She was good at communicating and sending updates/pictures and making my dog feel at home in her care. Definitely recommend her!
Caroline always takes wonderful care of Hudson!!! Thank you!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a typical job and have meetings throughout the day. That means I do need some quiet. If your dog is an especially chatty one, we may not be the best fit. I also have errands and a life outside of the home like any other human, so there will be times that I have to leave the pups at home without me. If your pup has separation anxiety or can be destructive, please let me know and provide a crate or other means of ensuring their safety. While I do offer day care services, my work schedule can be demanding and requires a fair amount of travel. With that in mind, I’m not the best person for someone looking for regularly scheduled, recurring day care. I am able to watch up to two dogs at a time, but I prefer to only do that if they are from the same home.

Information Caroline W. would like to know about your pet
If your dog sleeps in a crate or is crated while you’re gone, I do expect you to let me know and supply the crate. Please let me know if your dog has any food or leash aggression and if they prefer to be walked alone. Please let me know if they do well at off leash dog parks and any food and medical issues
A typical day
I take pups out on a walk first thing in the morning, again late morning, early afternoon, and before bed. We also have a fenced backyard and will have supervised playtime throughout the day. One of those walks is a longer one (~1hour).

Availability
I work from home Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, so I’m around the entirety of those days. My job requires we work from the office Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I'm available to board those days, but pets will be left alone from 8a-4p. I take dogs on at least 4 walks per day.
