Vet Assistant looking for more work
Pet care experience
As a sophomore in high school I began working as a surgical volunteer in an animal shelter, I did this until my senior year. I have volunteered at shelters in the area and work as a Veterinary Assistant at a hospital (with the semester off for school.) I am in my junior year at Penn State as an Animal Sciences major. Taking care of animals is my passion and I am fit to take care of all breeds, sizes, and differing medical needs such as; routine medication and bandage change.
Reviews
Caroline does an excellent job taking care of our cats! We feel comfortable going away knowing they will be well cared for.
Caroline was amazing
Truly such a great sitter. My cat doesn’t trust many people easily and she loved Caroline. She went above and beyond to make sure she took as best care of my Pearl. Couldn’t be happier!
Caroline did a great job walking our dogs this week - she kept me updated every day and was right on time.

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets in a clients home, I prefer having written/printed or texted instructions so I can ensure I have done everything to your liking and in the most routine for your pet. I am tidy and if I notice a mess from an animal I act on it immediately and provide contact. You can expect a few photos of your pet walking, playing, etc. as well as a message letting you know how things went during our time together.
Information Caroline S. would like to know about your pet
Information that is important to me is where necessities for the pet are located, your local vet in case of emergencies, and your pets preferences. This includes area to walk, toys to play with, and anything else! I would like to meet you and your pet prior to coming for the visits to ensure everything is going to go as smoothly as possible.
A typical day
A typical day with your pet will involve active attention. For cats, I have two of my own that I spend a generous amount of time playing with, you can expect the same for your animal! A typical day with a dog would include a long walk and play. As each animal is different, I will interact as best for the animal and owners routines.

I am currently a full time psu student, I typically work at a vet hospital during the semester but have decided to focus more on school and pet sitting until summer. My school schedule is a bit different everyday and I often take online courses. The latest I am done my classes during the week is 2pm. Please don’t hesitate to reach out as I am flexible!
