Loving & Reliable Sitter 🐈🐶❤️

Pet care experience

Hi! I’m Caroline and I live in Irvine. I moved to CA from the UK where I worked as a home health Occupational Therapist. I am also an experienced sitter who loves cats and dogs. I love meeting new people and have a deep love for all kinds of pets. I truly enjoy the therapeutic company of furry friends.. Throughout my life, I have owned and cared for cats and dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I don’t have a pet at the moment and miss having that in my life, so I truly value the time I get to spend with your furry babies. I am reliable, trustworthy, and committed to providing the best possible care for your furry friend. I will also treat your property with the utmost respect. As an active person, I enjoy taking walks, playing with your pets, and providing them with the love and attention they deserve. I understand that leaving your fur baby behind can be stressful and heart breaking, which is why I am committed to providing the best care possible. My ultimate goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you are away, so you can relax and enjoy your break. Typical activities I can do while you're away: • Wash the food and water bowls daily • Check/ refill automatic feeders and water fountains • Feed your pet as per your instructions (dry, wet or raw food) • Play with your pet(s) with their favorite toys and activities (feather toys, balls, wands, catch, run, etc) • Go outside for walks/ stroller walks as per instructions • Cleaning messes between visits/ replacing pee pads/ picking up poop • Scooping all litter boxes or emptying out the litter robot waste drawer • Cleaning up any pee/poop accidents, hairballs or vomit • Vacuuming excess hair or sand from the floor • Take and share photos or videos of your cats each visit to let you know how they're doing! For pets who need supplements and medication I can: • Give oral medication (liquid with a syringe or pills (pill pockets, pill popper or directly for more cooperative pets) • Give vitamins (tablets or drops) or dental health treats • Mix supplements into cats/dogs food with specific instructions • Applying ear medications /ointments/ topical flea treatment as per instructions I can also: • Water your plants, open/close curtains and switch on/off lights on a schedule • Bringing in packages and mail *Please note: If you have additional pets that need to be cared for, fed and be cleaned after during my visit (birds, pet reptiles, chinchillas, Guinea pigs, bunnies, turtles, fish, etc) please add them as an additional cat/dog in your request. If I don’t need to do much for them like just adding food to a fish or frog tank, or just check that they are ok, there is no need. If in doubt, please check with me. Thank you for considering me for your pet sitting needs. I am excited to meet your furry friend and provide them with the care they deserve.

Caroline was very reliable and dependable. I was traveling for a week and unable to give my cat both daily oral and topical medicines. Caroline made sure my cat received her medication on time and was happy while I was away. Caroline's thoroughness and daily updates were appreciated, will definitely reach out for her ehelp next time I am traveling.

Caroline was taking care of our cat for a week for the second time, and we are very satisfied with the quality of the service provided. She is a genuine pet lover and she genuinely cared for our fur baby. Caroline made sure we returned to a clean home and a happy cat. I can’t recommend her enough! Will definitely contact her again next time we need a sitter!

Safety, trust & environment

As a trustworthy and responsible pet sitter I understand the importance of creating a safe and comfortable environment for your furry friend. I prioritize your pet's safety and well-being by taking necessary precautions such as ensuring doors and windows are secured and avoiding any hazards in the home. When taking your pet outside for walks, I monitor the surroundings for potential safety issues or odd behaviors from children, people, other animals or vehicles. I am very aware of the effects different weather conditions might have on the pet I am caring for and plan for this accordingly. I am also vigilant about monitoring your pet's behavior and well-being, including any signs of illness or discomfort, to ensure they stay happy and healthy during their time in my care.

Information Caroline R. would like to know about your pet

Information that I would like to know in advance do I can provide optimal care: What’s your dog/cat’s routine? Food, toileting, grooming, playtime, relaxation, medication, etc. Does you dog/cat have any special needs? For example, does the dog need to be taken for walks at a certain time, or does the dog have any allergies? Do they have sensory needs (i.e. laser lights trigger seizures) What are you dog/cat’s favorite activities? This will help me plan activities that your baby will enjoy. What are your dog/cat’s triggers? For example, does the dog/cat get scared of people, touch, lights, loud noises or a particular type of pets? How do you communicate with your dog/cat? I.e. what words do you use/ avoid using? How do they communicate their needs to you? Do you provide treats? are they on a diet?

A typical day

I am very active and love spending time with dogs and cats, and I always try to make sure they have a fun and enriching experience when they're in my care.
