Pet Care Experience I've grown up with pets my whole life. I've never lived in a household without animals. I grew up with dogs, cats mostly but when I was younger, I had pretty much everything you can think of from Mice, hamsters, lizards, frogs, lovebirds, cockatiels and bunnies. I'm really good with dogs and cats as I have 3 cats and a min pin. All my babies are friendly and easily able to get along. I have experience in watching puppies as young as 7 weeks old that had to be given medication and fed four times a day. I have also experience in fostering kittens as little as 6 weeks who are still weaning off their mother helping them find adopted homes. Older animals, I have experience in caring for their mobility issues, giving medication and looking out for any seizures, skin conditions, etc. that they are prone to have. Also, understanding the needs of an older animal needs to be taken out more frequently than others.

Safety/Trust/Environment: Boarding: I live in a townhome with a small gated patio. They will be located downstairs gated off away from the second floor and foyer of the entryway. Our cats are upstairs and prefer to have a safe space away from the dogs on the second floor. The only access the pups will have the first floor to the dining/kitchen/living area. The back patio will be limited and supervised at all times. Dogs will be leashed at all times outside of our home unless in a gated area. For Drop ins: I take pride in watching over your home and babies while you are away like my own. I will ensure your home is going to be properly maintained by offering to upkeep any watering and plants, feed fish, take the trash bins out, take in the newspaper, packages, etc. I can also offer light cleaning to make sure your home stays in the same way you left it. If you have a yard, I would supervise them at all times since I know our community is heavily surrounded by canyons that have a lot of predators. I only stay in the main area where the animals are located and their environment. I also like to include photos of your home to you at the end of my visit to ensure the home was left the way you had it last. At the end of my visit to make sure everything is off and locked up. Many times, I would only be inside taking care of the food/water situation and letting the remainder of the time taking the pups out for a walk or letting them out in the back to let them get fresh air.

Are they allowed to socialize with other dogs outside of my home during walks? Are they door dashers? Do they like to rip up stuff when they are bored alone? Specific details of what to look out after when they are on walks (avoid dogs, prone to eating things on floor, certain behaviors to watch out for; anxiety, aggression, etc.)
A typical day
Typical day: Here in my area, I have a small local pond that has light trails with ducks and other wildlife just around the corner from my house. There's a lot of local trails that are safe, suburban trails of Scripps ranch. Also, I like to take them out to Poway Dog Park (gated dog park) if they are good with other animals. Around your area, I like to take the first opportunity to knock out all the feeding changing the water out and make sure everything looks tidy inside. After, I like to take the babies out for a walk or into the yard to make sure they have enough fresh air to enjoy before going back in.

Availability
Schedule: Boarding: We have four pets of our own at home. My girlfriend and I work from home in the meantime until we return back to the offices. We are available to attend to the animals majority of the time if they have a very specific feeding schedule as we have attended young puppies who have to be fed 4x/day and while taking care of potty breaks as little as an hour. Drop Ins: I am available to do drop ins first thing in the morning, lunchtime and after work hours. Often, I am available to leave during my lunch break to attend to let the dog out and make sure they have enough to get through the remainder of the day. I am home majority of the time and I am available to come drop in at any given time.
