As a cat and dog mom for 20+ years and counting (and occasional rescuer of random birds and critters), it is my honor to help you ensure your pet is well-cared for. Feeding, walking, playing, bathing, and grooming are all familiar activities--I currently serve four indoor cats and am friend to the neighbor’s Labradoodles and two outdoor cats. Purr is my second language; I am a cat magnet. Over the years I’ve raised and fostered felines of all ages. I am also fluent in Woof...My best example of dog savvy is being one of two humans who could, without help or letting anyone loose, enter the yard of a friend who had seven dogs. Big dogs. I grew up with a feral golden retriever mix and then a miniature Schnauzer before moving out and acquiring/befriending an aging Afghan. She loved to hide entire loaves of bread.

I was always relaxed and calm when Caroline tended my special furry buddy. Caroline did more than the basic feeding and walking of my dog, she played with him and also cleaned up any of his “accidents”. She was very mindful of his schedule and needs. Because of her honesty and friendly professionalism I had the greatest confidence in her. I will definitely hire her as soon as I adopt my next furry buddy.

Thank you for sharing lots of details about your furry friends! What do you tell strangers when meeting your dog for the first time? What special words do they respond to? Anywhere they do not like being touched or other triggers? Do you use treats or reward your friends? How do you redirect behavior? Where are the toys and how do you prefer them to be cleaned? Any allergies I should know about?
A typical day
Both dogs and cats need attention and stimulation! I’ll learn what games they each enjoy playing and where the favorite walking spots are in the neighborhood. It will be fun exploring and playing together! Please note that a VISIT includes feeding, litterbox cleaning, medication adminstration, and water refreshing; it also includes playing, cuddling, and outside time in the yard. Visits do NOT include a standard 1-mile WALK in the neighborhood; WALKS will be shorter if feeding is also required.
