Pet care experience
I grew up with two dogs and two cats, and I've never lived without a pet - I currently live with a funny little tabby fellow. I'm experienced in cutting claws, brushing teeth, and dispensing medication to both dogs and cats. I'm diligent about cleaning, feeding, and medication schedules, and I love taking walks with pets, especially cats. I like to play with animals who are up for it, but my favorite thing is cuddling.

Please let me know if your pets have any special needs or behaviors that indicate stress or anxiety. I also like to know about their quirks. Do they hide from strangers? Will they try to sneak outside? Do they try to trick you into touching their soft, fuzzy belly so they can then attack you (my cat)? Let me know!
A typical day
I'm a big fan of going on walks with dogs, and I tend to be a leisurely walker, giving the dog plenty of time to check out new smells and sounds. I love to play with dogs. One of my childhood dogs was a pretty great soccer player, but I know all the classics: fetch, tug of war, hide and seek etc. Most cats also like to play, but I let them do it on their time. I've had lots of success using feathers and tennis balls with my own cat. Most animals are also quite happy to get lots of pets and attention, so of course I'll do lots of that as well.

Availability
I currently live with a cat, so I'm familiar with all the basic cat care duties: daily litter cleaning, replacing water and food, and keeping claws trimmed. I try to get a play session in every day, and as many cuddles as I can.
