I'll treat your dog as my own!

Pet care experience

I am a dog and animal lover - I even worked at a zoo! I have a 1 year old Lab/Great Dane mix puppy (named Moose) that I adopted a year ago. I’m a proud dog mom (you may be able to tell from some of my pictures - Moose’s birthday or Easter photos). We love to go on walks, to the park, train together, play together and snuggle together - I’d love to care for your dog the same way I do for mine while you’re away/out. I always had multiple labradors growing up and have been watching over friends and co-workers dogs the past 6 years - from a few months old puppies to 13 year olds. I previously volunteered at the local SPCA as a dog walker and have gained much experience with all types of dogs - fearful, jumpy, pulling, and reactive dogs. I have a full time job where I can work remote most of the week so I can be flexible to meet your dog’s needs. Please message me for more information and to get acquainted. Thanks!

Caroline loves dogs and she is one of those people that is on here because she has a passion for pups. As a previous sitter myself, I am picky and I find Caroline to be a good balance of play and responsibility. She volunteers at the shelter and she seemed to really enjoy taking care of my girl on top of the volunteering she does. My dog is a large and rambunctious young dog, she has a special feeding style, takes meds and despite all that, Caroline seemed to follow every instruction and went along with the play whims my dog would dole out. Caroline was flexible with our crazy schedule during the dog sitting and also during the meet and greet. The meet and greet was in depth, relaxed and she got to really meet my dog way after the excitement wore off. She didn't seemed fazed by anything we said about our dog's needs or habits. We received updates and photos throughout the day and we felt totally at ease the entire day she was with Caroline.

Caroline was terrific! She took very good care of my two black labs. She’s on time and sticks to their schedule. When I asked her to change their routine a bit, she was more than happy to make the adjustments. I’ll be using her again in the future for sure!

Caroline loves animals - that sums it up. She is dependable, dedicated, and trustworthy. Is you are jealous of your pet's affection - than - maybe rethink this choice. If you want to know that your pet is well cared for and being indulged than this is the best decision you can make!

I have known Caroline Falk for several years, and what I know for sure is, she is extremely reliable, trustworthy and passionate. Caroline spends her free time walking the dogs at Dutchess County SPCA. I would absolutely trust her with any of my animals. When Caroline sets out to do something, she does it 100% and then some. You will not have a better pet sitter than Caroline.

Safety, trust & environment

For any drop in visit or dog sitting visit, I will inspect your yard for any hazards or holes in the fence - I typically walk the yard with the dog to ensure they do not “discover” anything that could be hazardous. I never leave my own dog outside alone and will do the same (unless the clients advises otherwise). I will always leave your home as you left it and keep it secure at all times - no one wants to come home to dog accidents or unlocked doors.

Information Caroline F. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your dog has any behaviors to be aware of (such as aggressive towards other dogs or cats, scared of children, likes to eat their poop, etc). Of course I will learn your dogs personality over a few visits but being able to be prepared and cater to your dogs personality, likes/dislikes and behavior is very important to me so I can keep them save at all times.

A typical day

I love taking dogs on sniffy walk to stimulate their brain - it’s just as fun for me as it is for them to explore and get outside. If you have a fenced yard, we will play fetch, tug of war, and anything else your dog wishes. I cannot forget pets and belly rubs - bonus points if your dog has big ears as I’m a sucker for big ears. I would love to provide some love and fun for your dog in your absence!
