We’ve both always lived in dog loving households. I had a black Labrador for 14 years who passed away last year and love to look after friends dogs when they need me. My partner has grown up with beagles and whippets which we regularly look after. I’m comfortable walking, feeding and cleaning all breeds and also have experience training puppies. We both work from home so can easily fit looking after a dog around our schedules. We also have close access to green space and enjoy going for daily walks whether we are dog sitting or not. Weekends are busier but for the right dog we are happy to incorporate them into our plans. We live in a two bedroom flat without a garden therefore best suited to smaller breeds. There are lots of dogs in our building so it is a pet friendly space. We have plenty of green space and walks near us perfect for nipping out therefore not having a garden hasn’t really been an issue for us. The kitchen/living room is self contained and perfect for the dog to sleep or be crated in. We also have hard floors so no danger if there are any accidents!
