Doggie day and night care

Pet care experience

I absolutely love dogs! I lived with Bailey (the XL bully cross pit in my profile picture) and ShoSho (the white staffie with a fur pirate patch) for 3 years and also looked after my next door neighbours two doggies (the brown and black dogs in the photo) at my university home in York for 1 year.

Caroline looked after my Huskies, which is not the easiest task! When we left them, Caroline was playing with them in the garden, when we returned to collect them she was still in the garden playing with them, and they could not have been happier. Would highly recommend Caroline, she was very welcoming and really enjoyed having Kenzie & Bo as much as they enjoyed being at here home.

What can I say?! It's the first time we've ever used a dog sitter as we've used the same kennels in the north of England for over 20 years, but due to recently getting a new puppy we felt that being in her home environment would suit her better than kennels at such a young age. After searching intensively and thoroughly on various dog / house sitting sites, I finally came across Caroline's profile ........ and soooo glad I did! She was friendly and welcoming from our first get-together where she met our dogs - a 12 yr old American Bulldog and our almost 5 month old boxer girl. The dogs took to Caroline straight away, using her as a cuddle machine .... and if they were happy with her then I definitely trusted their judgement (especially as the older dog is an ex-RSPCA bad abuse case)! So as to keep the puppy in her new routine, Caroline stayed in our home, sending us daily messages / updates, photos and videos showing our houndz at home and out and about, genuinely enjoying themselves, to reassure us that all was okay and that the dogs were thoroughly enjoying themselves in our absence! We came back home to two very happy, settled dogs - and the puppy had even started to learn how to give a paw thanks to Caroline. She was absolutely amazing with our dogs and the hubby and I would have no hesitation in using Caroline's services again. Very highly recommended by us and our two houndz!!

Information Caroline D. would like to know about your pet

It would be really helpful if I know about any injuries your doggie has or if they are on any medication. I'd like to know your typical day with them and how many walks would be good for your doggie. I'd also really appreciate knowing if your dog is aggressive towards other dogs so I can be more prepared and make sure I keep them on a lead or in an enclosed space without other dogs being present.

A typical day

Typically I'd take your doggie out in the morning, let them go to the toilet and have a nice run around. I would then give your doggie breakfast and have nice cuddles with him/her! I typically go out 3 times a day for walks but of course it completely depends on the dog's age/fitness/ability and I would always stick to what you as the owner would want!
