Getting back into my love of pets!
Pet care experience
I have had a passion for animals (*especially* dogs) since I was really little. In college, I got to work as an assistant vet tech for three years at Emory's medical school and fostered a lot of kittens. I also have clinical and/or fostering experience with other animals like pigs and snakes and lizards! I volunteered a lot and got very involved with the Atlanta Humane Society up until the pandemic, when my job in infectious diseases research started to get busier than ever and didn't have much free time. Now that my work schedule is a little more flexible, I want to get back into spending my free time with animals!
Reviews
Caroline is fantastic! She took great care of our pups while house sitting. She even stayed late when we were a little late returning. Would highly recommend.
Caroline was great, and we would definitely hire her again! She took very good care of our older dog and cat, followed our instructions, and sent us regular updates. She is very responsible and our pets responded well to her. (Our cat usually hides when people come to the house, but she welcomed Caroline right from the start.) We recommend her highly!
Caroline was AMAZING! She took great care of our cat, Alice. She was a lifesaver while we were away because Alice has to take daily medication. Caroline took care of it all! Plus she sent us detailed reports on her visits. She was super communicative! We will definitely have Caroline back to watch Alice next time we are out of town!
Caroline was great with our dog. She communicated frequently and always followed up. Beanie misses her already and we will for sure book again.

I have spent the last year working with kdis in a clinical research setting, and every child patient I have is different, and I need to adjust my behavior accordingly. Some patients are excited to meet me, some are nervous, some are cautious, some just cry, and I need to work to meet kids where they are at. I believe it is similar with pets, and I strive to make sure your pet feels safe in my presence and while not enabling an negative behaviors your pet maybe working on (e.g. jumping, playful biting/nibbling etc.)
Information Caroline C. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know of any behaviors I shouldn't be enabling, especially with dogs! As much as I want to match their level of excitement, I know it is not always good for some dogs (especially puppies) to be jumping or nibbling. These are just common examples, so if there are things I need to keep an eye out for, let me know.
A typical day
When caring for your pet, I like to offer whatever you as an owner feel like you wish you could do extra of with your pet. I get we are all very busy people and don't get to do every single thing we want to do for our pets, so whether its an extra walk, extra play time, or extra pet- I am on it.

Availability
I usually work full time around 8am-4:30pm but can adjust those hours as needed. I am also a part time student but am not taking classes this semester and am excited to use that extra free time with your pet!
