I’ve adored animals my whole life. Since I was born, family dogs have been a crucial part of my household. I teach my dogs tricks, play fetch for hours, take them on daily walks, and lounge with them on the couch. I also fix their hair and spoil them. I’ve potty trained the new puppies that have come through my house and I’ve been my parents’ trustee dog sitter since I’m patient with my dogs’ quirky food preferences and needy behaviors. Although I grew up with shih-tzus, I love all dogs, big or small. My parents, and therefore my family dogs, live in Baton Rouge, where I frequently visit. I’ve lived in Metairie for 3.5 years for medical school and I’m not allowed to have any pets in my apartment, but with my free time during this last semester of school, I’d love to help my neighbors with their furry friends.
