Pet care experience
For as long as I can remember, my family has owned cats with every temperament you can think of, and dogs of all different sizes and breeds. As soon as I was old enough, I began pet sitting for my family whenever they went out of town: feeding, walking, and caring for all of their cats and dogs. Many of the cats I've cared for have had chronic illnesses such as diabetes and kidney disease, and because of this I have plenty of experience with, and am very comfortable with, administering medications both orally and through injections. I care deeply for all animals, and I guarantee that I will take care of and treat all of your animals as though they were my own.

When caring for new animals, I like to follow their lead in terms of comfort with different levels of interaction. If an animal is acting friendly and excited to see me I'll happily pet it and play with it, but if it's acting more wary or cautious, I'll make sure it gets the care it needs while allowing it to keep its distance, and I'll work to build trust with it over time. I want to make sure all pets that I care for are happy and safe, so when caring for them in a home I keep a close eye on the levels in their food and water dishes, and when walking them I make sure to give them enough room to sniff around and enjoy the scents, while keeping a tight enough grip on the leash to make sure they stay away from any potential dangers.

Please let me know if your animal needs any special care, like medications, special bathroom needs, or specific exercise needs. Additionally, please let me know if there are any behavioral warning signs I need to be on the lookout for, or any objects/sounds/activities/etc. that need to be avoided around your pet, to keep them as comfortable as possible. On the other hand, please also tell me if your pet has any favorite objects or activities so that I can make sure they are taken care of as well as possible, and have as much fun as possible, during my time with them!
A typical day
I want to make sure the animals that I'm taking care of are getting as much stimulation as they need, so depending on your animal's energy level, I would love to take them out into your backyard or to a dog park and play fetch and other games until they get tired. We can also take long walks (the actual length depending on how far the dog can go), where I'll give the dog plenty of time to check out all the smells around. With cats, I like to help burn off excess energy by playing with feather wands, laser pointers, balls, and other small toys.

Availability
I'm currently in school part-time on weekdays, so mornings, late afternoons, evenings, and weekends are my best times to walk your pets or drop in on them for some play time! Outside of school my schedule is very flexible, which means I can easily work with you to find the best time to take care of your pets for both of us!
