Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs in the house, and I've had dogs of my own too! I understand the stress of leaving your dog with a kennel, or with a stranger, and I can help ease that stress by keeping in contact, visiting your dog's home, or welcoming your dog into my home, or just taking them on a walk around the neighborhood when you aren’t able to!

Clarence had a great stay with Caroline! She’s very detail-oriented, communicative and caring. She was quick to respond when we had a slight hiccup in drop-off scheduling, which really gave us peace of mind before a big trip.
Caroline has taken care of many of my families pets (both dogs and cats) as we all travel often! She is amazing with dogs of all sizes and breeds (from our hyper and overweight black lab, to our two small rescues) and the pups all love staying with her.

Before dog-sitting, I like to know the following (and I'm sure I'm missing some, so anything extra you'd want to share!): - Commands the dog knows - Anything that may trigger the dog to be defensive or anxious - Any dietary needs - Any exercise restrictions - Specific routines (food schedule, pee/poo normal routine, etc) - Medications - Favorite toys! - Any extra info you may want me to know about your pup
A typical day
If the dog is staying at my house, s/he can expect walks around my neighborhood. Your dog is welcome to play in our house, and s/he can hop up on the furniture (if that's allowed in your house ;)), or hang out for some pats during a good movie. If I'm house-sitting, or dropping by your home, I will do my best to keep your dog's routine. I typically work 7am-3pm M-F, but it is very light work-from-home. I’m happy to take breaks to get dog’s exercise and make sure they’re fed and happy.

Availability
I usually work until about 3 or 3:30pm on weekdays, so my late afternoons and evenings are completely free! Depending on distance, other daytime visits can be accommodated as well. Overnights and vacation sitting on a case-by-case basis.
