Fully Insured, DBS check and First Aid Trained! 🐾

Pet care experience

Hello, my name is Caroline, and I am an all round animal lover! I am Canine First Aid trained, this also includes Felines. CDP accredited. Please see my photos to view my certificate. I also carry a fully stocked first aid kit. Please note, if your booking is confirmed on Rover, you will be consenting to myself carrying out first aid on your pet, if the occasion ever arose. (I haven't had to yet, and I hope not to in the future!). This is just so I have permission from owners to do so. Please do let me know if you do not consent when enquiring. Please also note that I may add photos to my Rover profile of your pets, please do let me know if you do NOT consent to this. I am DBS checked (hold a Police certificate). I also have Pet Sitters Insurance for your peace of mind, as well as mine 😊. Alongside pet sitting, my insurance also covers the below: Dog Walking (For walking up to six dogs) Dog and Cat Grooming Dog Training Pet Boarding Pet Microchipping Pet Minding Pet Taxi Pet Transportation My Husband, Edward sometimes comes with me on my pet sits. I have lovely testimonials from my clients for myself and Edward. He loves animals, especially cats, just as much as me! He also loves the countryside and walking. I will advise at time of inquiry if he will be accompanying me. Please let me know if you would rather it just be me, or your pet is not too fond of men. He is fully insured with Protectivity. Please look at my photos to see Edward enjoying his best life with our clients pooches and cats! I know the worry, guilt and the 'not knowing who to trust' when it comes to needing somebody to look after your dear pets when you go away from home. Rest assured, your pets would be in capable hands with me. I like to do a meet (where possible), so I know the ins and outs of your pets needs. I have completed work experience at my local veterinary surgery in Crowborough, volunteered at a local dog refuge in Australia called Shenton Park. I donate a percentage of my earnings from pet-sits to CAWS (Crowborough Animal Welfare Society). They are a lovely, local charity to me, and all support is always appreciated. I also support the Guide Dogs Association, Cats Protection, Hillside Animal Rescue in Norfolk, and the Donkey Sanctuary. I like to give back where I can. I am very trusting, and will take your pets needs to the forefront of my mind! I have been around pets from dogs to hamsters to spiders. Nothing deters me when it comes to the animal world. House/Pet Sitting- I would love the opportunity to house sit for your beloved pet. Whether that be an attention loving dog, to a sleepy hamster, or a majestic reptile. I am a lover of all pets, and would be available to pet sit for one night, to two weeks. I have looked after many dogs who need extra attention, are reactive or nervous. Unlike a lot of pet sitting businesses, my nightly rate is per 24 hours and includes walks. You may find when you're inquiring with companies, that their over night rate is from 6pm till 8am then next day, and then an hourly rate for anytime before or after these times. My rate is for the full 24 hours. Drop-Ins - I can do drop in the morning before or around 8am in the Crowborough/surrounding areas, and after 5:30pm, all week. Dog Walking- I have owned dogs for the past 15 years of my life. I'm used to walking twice a day, for up to an hour at a time. Living in Australia for 5 years, my beautiful puppy out there loved beach walks and the sea, so I'm used to all weathers and terrains to give your pup the best walkies. I love photography, (being a hobby of mine), I am more than happy to try take some happy shots of your pets on walks, around the house, or catch them mid-yawn!

Thank you so much for looking after our four crazies. You were brilliant about keeping us updated on the animals. They were very happy whilst we were away and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you. We would love to have you come again.

Caroline has been an amazing find! She totally took the stress and worry about leaving our cat alone for the best part of 4 weeks whilst we holidayed in Australia. She provided daily updates, including photos, and full reassurance. My cat is usually fairly standoffish with strangers, but fell in love with Caroline who clearly is a huge animal lover. We will 100% book Caroline for future trips and recommend her to friends with no hesitation whatsoever.

Was really pleased to have found Caroline - the daily updates put me at ease that my cat was doing fine and when I got home my cat was defiantly a lot calmer than if she had been in cattery for the few days over Christmas. Feel very confident in using Caroline again to do drop in visits.

We were anxious about leaving our two Jackawawas for a whole week with someone else - previously they had only ever spent a night or two without us with friends or family. However, once we had met with Caroline with the dogs, we felt confident that they would be well looked after and happy while we were away. We were so pleased with how they got on while we were on holiday; Caroline sent regular updates with photos and we were delighted to see how content they looked. Highly recommend!

Barney, our family Golden Retriever only has one walk a day now. However since owning dogs, when younger, they had two walks a day. The occasional bath when he needs one, but he is not a massive fan of water! Barney is our family dog, and does not come with me on pet sits.

Information Caroline A. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your animal has special requirements ahead of time, special diets, quirks, or needs. I have administered medicine orally to my pets/past clients pets.

A typical day

Typical day would be walkies and breakfast in the morning. Followed usually by a nap or rest. Outside for a run around and cuddles, fun and attention. Basically, I will continue their daily routine, so they are disrupted as little as possible whilst you're away.

Availability

I am currently working for a company where I can work from home. Please do send me a request and I shall see if I am available to accommodate your pet sitting needs. I have repeat customers, who have trusted me with their pets, for which I am very Grateful for. I hope you can see from my reviews that I am a trusted Pet Sitter. I do ask, if possible, to cover for petrol costs if you are outside the Crowborough area, just because of the increase in costs of recent times. I hope this is understandable. I am still happy to travel further afield for pet-sits. Up to 45 miles from my home for on/over one week pet sits.
