I am your pet’s best friend!

Pet care experience

I’m Carolina, and I started petsitting to make extra income while doing something I love. I have two pups of my own, and I have looked after friends’ dogs and cats, including a blind senior dog with diabetes and a 12-week-old puppy. I’m an attentive, honest, communicative, and flexible pet sitter. I try to listen to my client’s concerns and make accomodations where I can so that their pet’s needs are met. As a public school employee, I have a schedule that’s perfect for pet sitting during the times when people tend to go on vacation. Please note: During the school year my weekday availability, including Fridays, is for late afternoon/early evening only. During overnight stays at your house, I will happily water plants, check the mail, and do some light cleaning such as sweeping and dusting.

Probably the best sitter we've had. Our dogs loved staying with Carolina.

AMAZING. So responsive, so gentle, so caring, so compassionate, so many things. Carolina is a life-saver and a kittah-whisperer. I will be a repeat customer. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Information Carolina P. would like to know about your pet

No breed restrictions. I have worked mostly with smaller breeds – my pups are only 10 and 15 pounds – but I have no issue working with larger dogs as long as they have good leash and house manners. Please list any medical conditions your pooch has along with current medications or treatment plans (e.g. diabetes that needs to be managed with insulin), house rules, any triggers or behaviors that I should look out for, and the best way to address unwanted behaviors. I respect that every pet owner has their own unique aproach to training and discipline. However, I do not feel comfortable using choke, prong, or shock collars; my experience with these correction tools is too limited. I will also need your pup’s feeding and walking schedules, a preferred walking route if there is one, and the level of exercise they need. Open comunication is very important and will help me keep your pup happy and safe.

A typical day

I don’t have a car, so I usually walk pups around their neighborhood. Games of fetch, belly rubs, and couch cuddles are also readily available.
