Pet care experience
I grew in the countryside in Canada surrounded by animals, and have always felt confident and comfortable around pets. I've cared for sick animals, elderly animals, I've raised puppies (yes fun, but they certainly have sharp teeth!) and trained many dogs. I'm pretty active and not daunted by taking dogs for long walks, in fact I'd welcome the challenge. Equally happy to be a couch potato with a cuddle-buddy, though.

I would definitely recommend Carole, she is great with our dogs She has cared for them when they were puppies and adult dogs. She is super friendly and attentive to their needs, happy to spend time playing with them, making sure they are settled and ensuring they are walked as required.
I have known Carole most of her life she is an extremely kind caring and sensible person Carole is an animal lover and will care for your pets as if they are her own she will provide a temporary loving gentle home in your absence
Carole has had a lot of experience with her own pets growing up and its shows as she is most comfortable around my 2 bigger dogs. She is kind and caring with them. The male needs a lot of interaction and is more energetic and the female is a lot quieter as she suffers arthritis. Carole knows how to care for each one individually to their completely different requirements. I completely trust Carole in my home and with my babies.
Carole looked after our dog so well, she obviously loves dogs, she took a friendly approach, played with our dog and took her walks. Carole followed the dogs routine and feeding schedule. Carole is a calm friendly person who we and our dog enjoyed working with.

We have a house split over 2 levels. It is a small house, and there is no garden. I would take dogs for regular walks to one of the many parks in the area, or further afield for long walks.

Let me know how much exercise your dog likes, I can tailor walks to be more or less challenging (for us both!). And what personal behaviours they might have, for example around other dogs or people, so I can try to avoid uncomfortable situations.
A typical day
I like to walk and explore new places. On a typical day I'd find a new route so we can discover new places and smells, but also a well worn path is comforting too. In the house I like to add playtime and learning tricks.

Availability
I'm currently working part-time. I'm out of the house from 14-22h Monday-Thursday. However, my partner works more regular hours and can be in the house from 17h every day, so together we can provide almost complete cover throughout the week. From July onwards I will be 100% available as I don't work over the summer.
