Carol's Canine Care

Pet care experience

Me and my husband Bob are truly dog lovers which is why I became a Rover host. I also volunteered at The Buddy Foundation, which is a no-kill animal shelter for over ten years. I started by walking a variety of sizes/ breeds of dogs. I also work adoptions twice a week, help with dog adoption events, feed shelter pups when needed and dispensed meds from time to time. Then Covid hit, and since two of my daughters were expecting, I decided to take some time off. We lost our beloved Sam at the end of December due to cancer but he will always be in our hearts. I have been blessed to have dogs in my life for 40+ years now! I've owned a mutt, an Alaskan Malamute, a German Shepard mix, Cocker Spaniel mix, a Husky and Sam, a lab mix who was adopted through "Buddy". Also, I'm proud to say that my three daughters have adopted five shelter dogs! Each day your pup will receive up to 3+ walks in my neighborhood. We have a nice tree lined walking path and views of ponds where your pup can sit outside or on my balcony to watch the ducks swimming by. I am home most of the day, except for running the errands. To provide the best care for your pet, I accept only one dog at a time, but exceptions will be made if its a previous guest pup. All dogs must have collar with tags PLEASE! Dogs must be current on all vaccines and flea protection. And... we’re on Instagram at icare4dogs and my Facebook page at Carol's Canine Care. You may see your pet enjoying his vacay while YOU are on your vacation! Thanks for reading my page and I forward to hearing from you! Feel free to message me ANY questions!

Once again, Carol was wonderful with our pup. He immediately made himself at home! She kept us updated and sent pictures, which we always appreciate and enjoy.

Our dog Lucky stayed with Carol while we were on vacation. She is a very spoiled girl who has the run of our house. She was given the same treatment at Carol’s house. She slept with Carol at night and made herself right at home. Carol sent me pictures and updates daily. I felt so comfortable with Lucky in Carols care. She took her for walks around a pond and they enjoyed the spring weather outside. Carol brought Lucky home for us so she would be there when we got home. Everything went perfectly. Carol is an outstanding dog sitter. She is like a second mom to Lucky!

Scout loves Carol and her husband! He has stayed with Carol many times. She communicates in a timely manner and always keeps me updated with photos of our boy while he’s at her house. He will definitely be back soon!
