Pet care experience
Having recently lost our 15 year old much loved rescue cat, Dolly we have a very deep hole & emptiness in our home so made the easy decision to open it up to caring for pets that need a safe and loving place to be while their owners are away. We have always had pets and have experience of many different types and ages. Mum has had a Kairn Terrior, a Westie and 2 Labradors and my Sister has a lovely chocolate Lab that we see regularly so we are used to different sizes of dogs however, living in an apartment now we have decided it is better to care for small to medium sized pets. Potty breaks will be frequent as we are very close to grassy areas and also happy to go for long walks in nearby parks and wooded areas. I myself am a very caring doctor who understands the needs of others, including animals and Mum is a super animal lover who is home full time, so between us we will always do our best to accommodate your requirements to make sure your pets needs are met and will be happy & relaxed while in our care. We have many friends & family members with pets so are around them frequently and both of us have done voluntary care for a dog rescue centre in Cyprus. We have a lot of love to give all types of pets and will take exceptionally good care of your fury family member as if they were our own. As an animal loving family we have experience with many types of dogs, cats, rabbits & guinea pigs. Carol and Simon could not have taken better care of Echo - they fully embraced every part of his quirky personality and sent me such lovely updates so I could fully relax and enjoy my hols. At home, he sleeps on my bed but at other sitters he has slept downstairs. Here he slept on Carol's bed and I think that proves that for Echo, this truly was home from home. Thank you both - he'll be back with you soon!
brilliant personalised care for my beautiful boy. 100% understanding of him and his needs. Lots of lovely pics of him having the time of his life. Very compassionate and caring people who clearly love their charges as much as we owners do. He can't wait to go back!

We have a duplex apartment in St Johns which is a safe environment in a gated complex and are situated off the main road. There is a large outdoor balcony area plus there are surrounding grassy areas around the complex for regular toilet pottying in addition to long walks. If we were to visit your pet at home..we will do so with respect and treat your pet as you would yourself. We are available for feeding, short or long walks and will always treat your pet as a part of our family. We are able to accommodate overnight stays for small to medium pets. They will be made to feel extremely welcome & cuddles come as standard.

The dietary, walking and sleeping needs, so that we can emulate your pets normal routine as closely as possible and accommodate their needs. The more we can match the normal routine the better it is for your fury family member. Your pets comfort is our priority & if staying with us they will be able to have the run of the home and enjoy the comfort of our furniture ( bed) too should they want to have a snuggle on the sofa or sleep feeling secure :)
A typical day
Your family pet will be looked after with care and affection and be made to feel very welcome in our home. We will try as much as possible to keep to their same rigime with routine and feeding times with walks tailored to the pet’s needs; we have nice open green spaces nearby plus fields, woodland & parks in good walking distance. Play time, cuddles and pet conversations during the stay here or if we visit your home always come as standard. Our cupboard is always stocked with doggy treats and toys along with blankets and comfortable areas to sleep.

Availability
I work 4 days a week as a consultant radiologist. Mum is at home, able to care full time or do home visits. I am available most evenings and weekends.
