Carol had agreed to house sit our 14 year old Beagle for us for 9 days. We met her and she seemed very nice and responsible. However, we had a couple unfortunate experiences. We have a security cameras in our main living room and outside (we informed Carol about them in a note). The first day our security camera and our motion detecting thermostat did not detect anyone home for over 12 hours. When we asked her what she was doing she said she was with the dog all day. When we told her that we know that isn't true because our security camera and thermostat had no record of anyone at the house, she admitted that she had been gone all day. That night the security camera showed her putting a box over the thermostat and then disabling the security camera. When we asked her not to do that she said she felt uncomfortable with the camera and asked us to find someone else. We had to make new arrangements for the dog (while we were traveling) and the first days of our vacation were spent worrying about the dog and why Carol would want to disable our security camera. Very disappointed.

Carol was absolutely wonderful with my two pups! She was quick to respond to my request and met with us the next day. Her love of animals becomes obvious the minute you meet her. My pups took to her immediately (they have been known to be a bit finicky :)). She is very friendly, responsible and reliable! She sent us several videos and pictures while we were away. I could tell the dogs were happy and well taken care of. I will definately call on Carol again and would recommend her to anyone looking for high quality care of their beloved animal!!
