Home Full Time - Large Fenced yard

Pet care experience

Safety first!! I have been fully vaccinated as is anyone who visits my home. I will retrieve your pet and belongings from your car while being masked. No need to get out! He/she will be returned to you the same way. Thanks and we will get through this safely together!! I will sleep with the pups in an open room on a futon unless you’d like them crated or in a separate “quiet room”. They’ll have fun and come home tired! Have your pup find his/her new best friend at “home away from home puppy camp”. Contact today to reserve your spot! I am your dog’s “home away from home”! I follow your schedule and arrangements for eating, sleeping (even in my own bed) and plenty of wonderful excercise in my huge backyard! Dogs can come to have fun. I’m home all day as well! I have worked alongside a vet and have much experience giving medications, even insulin shots. I keep my numbers low, they are free roaming in the home, not kenneled. I prefer keeping quality time and low numbers for my business! Get in before I’m fully booked! ❤️ I have always had dogs in my life. I also volunteer for 3 animal rescue/shelters presently and for the past 8 years. I have been trained and provide dog evaluations and know how to interact with new dogs. I have fostered dogs and boarded dogs in my own home for the past 8 years. Experienced in giving medications and extra care. I fostered 45 kittens (many bottle fed) and 25 dogs where many were rescued sick. Name a med- I’ve probably given it. Plus, I also had my own cat with diabetes that I gave insulin shots twice a day for 3 years. I have 2 very friendly dogs in my home presently. Both were rescues I fostered and later adopted. One is a 45 pound Australian Shepherd and the other an 8 pound wire terrier mix. Both love to run the yard with our Rover friends and get lots of exercise and are very spoiled! Currently, I am home full-time and your pet will receive the best care and if he/she prefers time alone, I have spare bedrooms I can put a crate in for their comfort. For overnight boarding, if there is more than a 4 hour difference between drop-off and pick-up times (24 hours= 1 overnight fee per Rover) I charge a day-care fee. 4-8 hours = $10, 8-12 hours = $20. Anything over 12 hours will be charged regular daycare fee.

Carol was fantastic! This was our second time going to her and our dog didn’t want to get in the car when we came to pick him up!!! Our dog can be very high maintenance, and Carol always takes such good care of him.

Carol was fantastic. Our dog can be very difficult and needy but he was handled with the utmost care. She sent daily updates and responded quickly to any messages. I have nothing but great things to say about Carol.

I was very pleased with Carol's care of my pup. She sent daily photos and videos, and let me know how well she was getting along with the other dogs. It was also a great chance for my dog to get more much needed socialization with other dogs. She came home happily exhausted from all her playtime! I will definitely use her services again!

Information Carol P. would like to know about your pet

I love watching all breeds of dogs, large and small. My dogs were adopted through me fostering first from rescues. They love company! I would like to know if they enjoy their alone time when boarded, what they are motivated by, and what activities they like the best! I’m also experienced with all ages, puppies to seniors and have no problem giving medications, even insulin shots. Trained by a vet.

A typical day

I have a large fenced in yard where I play catch, frisbee, and the dogs often engage in a chase game. I also live in a nice col-de-sac neighborhood. Plenty of dog lovers and I will take the dogs on walks too in the 6 block neighborhood. Retired police office lives across the street. Very safe and dog friendly neighborhood.
