Pet care experience
I love taking care of pets. Having just returned from Japan, I am not in a place that I can adopt a pet right now, so pet-sitting, walking and caring for your dog or cat would give me a chance to connect. I am a former computer professional and IT manager, a position I left to travel, so I am used to responsibility and work well under pressure. I am a cyclist and former spin coach so I am very physically active. I will enjoy the walks as much as your dog! I have had pets all my life. My most recent experience sitting other people’s pets is taking care of Charlie, the former Thai street cat. Charlie does not get along with everybody, but he always perks up when I arrive. I can’t wait to meet your “Charlie”.

Carol was so great with my baby boy Roger. Her first meeting with Roger was with such a soft and gentle touch, respecting him in his home and allowing him to get to know her (sniff away!). She sent updates with a photo for each walk, and updated his walk details on the Rover card. They were rainy walk days, but she still went on the wet walks and wiped/cleaned him off at drop-off. Greatly appreciated her care with Roger. Thank you!
Carol was the perfect person to take our senior dog for a few walks this week. She is friendly, prompt and we would highly recommend her in future.
Maya always loves her stays with Carol and Doug. We can enjoy our vacations with the confidence that she's being pampered every single day! So glad to have such reliable and loving sitters for our little girl.
My cat loved his visits with Carol! He normally doesn't like to cozy up to many people but he was very comfortable with her and eased our minds while we were away. Also she provided lots of photos and comments !

I love to walk at the pace the dog chooses. After all it’s his or her time out. I love to walk on the waterfront, down by the bike path and then as natural surroundings as possible. I am not embarrassed talking to dogs as part of how I interact with them.
